Pride. Greed. Lust. Envy. Gluttony. Wrath. Sloth. The sins that make us our own worst enemy. And at any given time, we all could fall victim to them. Fighting those demons at times seems impossible. Especially when they come to life… FBI agent Emma Griffin has seen her share of dark and twisted murders. When she's called onto a new case, Emma finds herself baffled and horrified Pride. Greed. Lust. Envy. Gluttony. Wrath. Sloth. The sins that make us our own worst enemy. And at any given time, we all could fall victim to them. Fighting those demons at times seems impossible. Especially when they come to life… FBI agent Emma Griffin has seen her share of dark and twisted murders. When she's called onto a new case, Emma finds herself baffled and horrified by the crime scene. Cream colored tags. Mysterious spirals. Words with seemingly no meaning. Victims with tags that don’t seem to correspond to their “sin”. The “greed” victim is neither wealthy or indulgent and the “gluttony” victim seems to lead a healthy lifestyle. As Emma dives deeper into the case, other mysteries that impact her life start closing in. The more truths Emma uncovers the more bizarre turns this “Seven Deadly Sins” case takes, and the more of a target Emma becomes. As the mystery unfolds, Emma finds that these murders are connected to a part of her past she considered long over… You can run or hide, but escape is not an option. In the end the sin of our past turns into demons that will come after all...

As usual, the book pulls you back into Agent Emma Griffin's world. I especially like this book because it reveals some of her past in the early days of her being in the FBI. She finally gets closure and put a series killer's reign of terror to an end. Her skills and attention to details help her solve the case. Not only that but her friend has solved another mystery while going under cover in a prison tying her current case in with that of her uncle. I love how the stories connect and go on but As usual, the book pulls you back into Agent Emma Griffin's world. I love how the stories connect and go on but I can't help but think there has to be an end in sight for catching her uncle and solving the mysteries of the Emperor. This is a wonderful group of family and friends, and I can't help but feel invested in their stories. Once again I am anxiously waiting for another book from this talented writer.

I have liked the other books in the series, but this one was a little too slow for me. Agent Griffin Another great story in the continuing saga of FBI Agent Extraordinaire Emma Griffin. The culprit is never revealed until the very end, and yet, there are several mysteries that have continued throughout the series of 19 books. This continues to be a worthwhile read even throughout the 19 book series. I look forward to Emma, Sam, Dean, Xavier, Eric and Ian's next unsolved cases. And, lest we forget about Jonah.... I quite enjoyed reading The Girl and the 7 Deadly Sins. This time the book concentrated on the crime taking place at the moment and less so on the other secondary stories such as the Emperor and Emma’s uncle. I found this the perfect balance. I won’t mind a book solely about Emma’s uncle and the Emperor if it finally brings that story to its conclusion. It has been dragging on too long now and Emma doesn’t need that storyline to make her an interesting character all on her own with her supportin I quite enjoyed reading The Girl and the 7 Deadly Sins. I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. First couple of chapters were kinda slow, then the fun gets serious. Emma, an FBI agent is drug into a serial killers bazaar method of killing. She is still fighting her own past, that seems to put her in the crosshairs of the murders. Well developed plot and great characters. I've gotten hooked on Emma, her story. A great read, you won't be disappointed! I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. As usual , enjoyable , quick read, but somehow it just seemed to solve all of a sudden, last few pages. I still have an issue with dragging a plot line on forever, book after book, but I am a solid fan, and will keep coming back. I do love the way Rivers divides her series into "Season 1", "Season 2", because it very much reminds me of a television series, or limited streaming series. Would LOVE to see that!! The Girl and The Seven Deadly Sins It's been a busy time for all the gang. Xavier is undercover in prison, Sam is running the Sheriff's Dept and running down clues about his cousin Marie since she has been found dead in a drug smugglers warehouse. Emma and Dean and Eric are running down names and companies and how they relate to the latest killing spree in which Emma was one that got away. oh my word! Good gosh, one case solved and another bomb dropped from an ongoing one! Suspense has me one the edge of my seat and hoping the next book comes quickly! Emma is like a bulldog, getting stuck on something and not letting go. Can’t wait to hear what Xavier has to say about his investigation.

A.J. Rivers all 19 books are amazing I am totally addicted to the Emma Griffin FBI series. Oh my gosh..I have hated when each book ended. I couldn’t wait to read the next one. But here I am at #19 and no new book. Ugh..what am I going to read now. Your books are so well written. The twists the turns keep me coming back for more. Thank you for being an awesome writer.

Just finished this and as usual enjoyed it tremendously. All of the books in the Emma Griffin series are amazing. Never know what the end will be like and is always a surprise. Start with the first (The girl in cabin 13) and follow from there. You won’t be disappointed. BTW. I am starting the Ava James series now and I am sure it will be just as addictive. Emma Griffin was her mentor.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I really enjoyed this one in the series! I love the cat and mouse game with Emma and Jonah. However, it’s always the same kind of convo where Emma says she’s done with him and yells at him, etc. The serial killer storyline was so much fun to read! I take a melatonin before bed and read, but I was so entertained I would fight sleep!

Murder mayhem So far these stories have not disappointed me. I have enjoyed them immensely. There have been times that the mixture of past and present become blurred and seems like sometimes a section is thrown in because the writer needed to make it more of a mystery or added suspense, but eventually things come together.

suspenseful and twisting as usual One of her last cases in this series has Emma Griffin fighting her past, her memories and once again narrowly escaping her own death. Emma and her f&f (friends and family) wind themselves into more interesting and quite complicated situations. A real page turner !

Emma Griffen Series I really like this book 19th of Emma Griffin and her husband and family. I just hate that I finished it already and have to wait on the 20th book. I really hope it's soon. The Girl and the 7 Deadly Sins This book did not have the excitement like all the rest in this series. I must say this book was boring. This series is always very exciting and thrilling but this book was not. Hope the next book in this series has more intrigue and thrills.

Amazing once again Can't wait for the next one to come out. The suspense continues to build with each story. My interest in seeing what happens next continues to build and hopefully we don't have to wait long for the story to come out. Amazing once again Can't wait for the next one to come out. Emma remind s me of Texas Ranger! One riot , one Ranger A. J. never fails to keep me guessing. You know Emma will get the job done but the path she takes, is never boring. Her dedication is what all law enforcement should have.

Great Series! I love the Emma Griffin series. I love feeling like I know her and her family so well. When I start any of AJ Rivers’ books, I can’t put them down. They catch your interest right away and never let up until the last page. Can’t wait until book 20!

Excellent! Emma is still on the hunt, looking for Jonah. Xavier is under cover in prison trying to figure out how Jonah broke out of the prison and Sam is still being a pain in Emma's butt. Really enjoy agent Griffin’s books The story continues through all the books, I wouldn’t read any of them stand alone, but I like her as a lead agent, I like her “chosen family” of characters, and the stories are fun to read. Another good one.

Good series Another good Emma Griffin book, BUT it us getting tiresome to have the character indulge in the risky behavior she promises to avoid accompanied by the wringing of hands and "oh so sorry." Lazy on the part of the author. Think of something new. Another cliff hanger Just when I think I've read it all, I am left with one last cliffhanger to keep me waiting for more information from another book. It never wraps up all the information with a pretty bow. It just keeps me wanting more. Case from early on How this book came together in a nice neat bow, was wonderful. Another heart pounding mystery for Emma to solve. Interesting that an unsolved case from early in Emma's career comes back. Case from early on How this book came together in a nice neat bow, was wonderful.
