A family tragedy, a chest, glimpses into the lives of strangers. This complex slow burn is a fantastic read, unputdownable, outstanding.

Quirky but endearing characters join together to unravel the mystery behind a mysterious trunk that anonymously shows up at Cullen's workshop. Another great story by Fern Michaels. Secrets is about Cullen and Luna. They have a restoration shop and cafe and then they get an old steamer chest from an anonymous source. As they dig deeper into the mystery they find a locked diary along with a letter asking for the diary to be restored to its rightful owner. One of the clues is a wooden box containing ticket stubs and a carnival flyer. Great mystery and a must-read.

I am so loving this new series from Fern Michaels. Book two takes us back to the Stillwell Art Center and things are changing every day. Luna gets these vibes and things take off. She is liking the Marshal, Chris and her brother is seriously liking the jeweler, Chi Chi and in between they all have a mystery to solve in an old trunk.

This is a charming light mystery. The characters are quirky and delightful, and the story is entertaining. There are heartwarming friendships and a bit of romance. I loved the book and hope there will be more in this series!

A great addition to the series with endearing characters and a little mystery thrown in...it makes you wonder what will happen and who might be connected to who. I really enjoyed the pace and feel good feeling from this!

I like the characters, but there seems to be a lot of complaining in this book about how young people are no good these days and this is done by relatively young people in the story. I think the book constantly harping on how things were better in the past takes away from the story.

This mystery had such interesting characters and story that I finished it in a weekend. The characters were easy to follow and full of sincerity. Would definitely recommend.
