“What if I write a story that’s a take on the Orpheus and Eurydice myth but about the love between a father and daughter. And then intertwine it with elements from the myth of Ariadne?” Jeff, your MIND.

I am in love with this series now and how could I not be? I’ve always loved Jeff Lemire’s deeply heartfelt comics and I was a big mythology nerd in school (I mean, I was a big nerd in general). “Mazebook” marries these two interests perfectly. A little light on story advancement, but the new character is good. Ends on a fun note.

An other masterpiece from Lemire. Both the story and illustrations are amazing. I really love how Jeff connects the narrative content with the illustrated expression in the maze theme.
