This is a wonderful read! It's so much more than a sweet romance, it's about being leading others to Christ and being a example of His love and letting Him lead your life. This book pulls at the heart. So much of it is real… real life issues, real life situations, real life dilemmas. And it’s about the faith it takes to get through these things. Hard questions are asked like:“Do you believe God is unkind?” … “Why did God take her?” And every question is met with a truth. Scripture is not just thrown in the text, it’s carefully woven into the theme providing an answer to each question. 👁^👁 OBSERVATIONS: Olivia trusted G_d in MOST things but not enough to open her hea This book pulls at the heart. She feared loss. She thought if she kept her heart closed she couldn’t be hurt anymore. She had to learn to let go and let God…. not an easy task for her. Derek the doubter. He’d grown up with love but money was tight. He was determined to have a better life… a life full of success and riches. And that he got, but there was one thing that money could not buy, peace. My heart went out to Peter. His loss was immense but what a witness he was. Peter loved God, didn’t question his loss but kept his mind closed to grief. He overloaded himself with work so hE couldn’t grieve. Chase was an addict and with that came self destruction, self loathing and helplessness. Joe, the dad, was a wise man that had a hard tome of letting go of his deceased wife. They didn’t have riches or luxuries but they had what counted most … love. Loved these quotes in the book: … Doing stuff that sucks is part of being a grownup … “Jesus? Like the dead dude in the Bible?” …. “I guess you didn’t want it enough if you’re leaving”

This is another wonderful book in which T.K. I enjoyed this story very much. The one issue I had was Olivia’s expectation that Derek must move from Chicago to Spokane for their relationship to succeed. Derek is very, very wealthy and could buy homes in both cities and easily travel whenever necessary. It seemed Olivia was very interested in the relationship, but gave up too easily. I would recommend “Love’s Freedom”, as well as any of Mr. Chapin’s books.

I’ve always heard the phrase if you love something let it go and if it comes back to you it yours but if not it never was. I thought of this as I read this inspiring story aptly named Loves Freedom. This story highlights how Hod gives us a choice and he honors those choices because He loves us. I loved the characters in this story. From Olivia who is leaning to lean on God during life’s challenges to Derek who needs to find true peace that is found only in a Person. As always, with Mr. Chapin's books, this one is inspirational, realistic, and encouraging. The characters, Derek and Olivia, are so lovable and intriguing as they work through romance and the decisions required by their relationship. Once again the author skillfully interweaves Bible truths without becoming preachy. This one was hard to lay down and probably will be on my list of Mr. Chapin's books to read a second, or maybe, a third time! Wow! This story is so meaningful! It amazes me that so many people in our world think that riches are a source of peace. I’m so glad to read a story that shows people that have gone so much still are willing to let God into their lives! You will love reading this story that shows the search for peace!!

Rich beyond their dreams. Sure they are rich — but are they free? Are they happy? Is money everything? When he goes home he discovers he is missing something . . . . and as he studies his brothers life and works with him he realizes real freedom comes from something else . . . . GREAT BOOK. LOVED EVERY PAGE. As always T.K. Chapin makes me think about what is really important in life.

T.K. Chapin’s books are always a sermon. They’re realistic and touch the heart. Often Christian books touch on faith, but Chapin’s books are steeped in faith and He doesn’t mess around. Love his books and am blessed by them. Excellent book.

What a remarkable story of finding the true purpose in life through dealing with your past. Being successful, rich, and in need of nothing or anyone isn’t the answer. Derek finds this out and a lot more on a long overdue trip home. Most importantly he finds himself through finding Jesus.

Good fast read. This Author is a favorite of mine. He always combines Scripture and growing relationships with real life situations that can apply to a broad spectrum of people. In my opinion his books have potential to be used in bibliotherapy.

To know Christ is to know peace. This is a story about living your life in such a way that others see Christ in you and this gives you the blessing of leading someone to accept Jesus as their savior. A sweet romance blossoms in the midst of helping others. An inspiring story.

your life is a witness for Jesus Wow! The main thing I loved about this story is how the Word of God helped Olivia. Just maybe, her witness could possibly draw others to Him as well. Very well done!
