Dylan's Dilemma

Dylan has been curious for a long time, but is he ready to confront his desires? A difficult decision Dylan Martin has worked in the same Ogunquit hotel since he was eighteen, and he knows the drill: anything that might damage the hotel’s reputation has to be reported. So telling the uptight manager there’s a gay porn shoot about to take place should be a no-brainer. Exce Dylan has been curious for a long time, but is he ready to confront his desires? So telling the uptight manager there’s a gay porn shoot about to take place should be a no-brainer. Except Dylan recognizes one of the performers. He’s been watching Mark Roman’s scenes for so long, he could describe every inch of Mark’s ripped body, from the silver at his temples and in his beard, right down to the tattoo on his ass. Not to mention Mark’s sexy smile that sends heat hurtling through Dylan every time he sees it. But if Dylan says nothing, it’s his job on the line. Except the guy seems familiar—and nervous—and suddenly it’s clear who let the cat out of the bag. When Mark jokes that Dylan owes him a scene to make up for it, Dylan refuses point blank, but the longing in his eyes is hard to ignore: Dylan obviously wants him, even if he can’t bring himself to say it. Mark wants to be the one to undress him, to show him how sensual a man’s kiss can be. He wants to set Dylan on fire, to make him shudder with pleasure. Most of all, he longs to hear his name on Dylan’s lips when Mark brings him to the edge. It won’t be any more than that. Mark’s ‘career’ has proved a stumbling block in the past, and he doesn’t expect Dylan to be any different. Mark may know a lot about desire, but Dylan’s about to give him a lesson in love.

The audio version of Dylan's Dilemma is available now, beautifully performed by John Solo. If you haven't read this one yet (or even if you have), I highly recommend it! You can read these stories independently, or in any order, though it’s been fun to see the changes in this tight knit group as each of the guys finds their partner. Plus, the friend group does pop up in each of the novels. These buddies support each other as they work out some of life’s problems, learn more about themselves, and find love along the way. In Dylan’s Dilemma the main character faces several predicaments, and his choices result in some big life changes. A longtime victim of his passive aggressive family’s constant digs and predices, Dylan is afraid to stand up for himself. And worst of all, Dylan feels that there’s something wrong with his wants and desires. The effort of maintaining his career is wearing Mark down, and he’s come to a point where his life needs an overhaul. He’s been living in Maine for a while, but hasn’t made any connections in the community. So when he sees the cutie from the hotel, Mark takes the opportunity to strike up a conversation. While Dylan’s initial attraction to hunky Mark is purely physical, once these two get to know each other they get along beautifully. Mark’s self confidence and straightforward attitude helps Dylan open up about his true desires. And as his walls come down, Dylan and Mark forge a bond, before they ever start a romantic relationship. Dylan slowly grows to realize that lust alone isn’t enough, even being honest about his desires isn’t enough, for him to make the passionate connection he longs for. To truly matter to his lover, Dylan needs to forge an intimacy he hasn’t found in a partner until Mark. Dylan’s exploration of his sexuality is beautifully written, and I love the changes that come over Mark's character as these two venture into this romantic relationship Each book in this series is filled with the gorgeous erotica I count on from K.C. Wells, plus the couples’ playful banter, and genuine affection are a joy to read. a copy of Dylan’s Dilemma was generously provided by the author for the purpose of my honest review

5 “You really think I could walk away from what we have?” stars I love you, Dylan Martin. I love your sense of humor, your quirks, your kinks—all of them. While I have enjoyed the other books in this series a fair bit and knew I probably would like this one too, I was taken by surprise by how much I enjoyed this book. I had the best time reading this. This was a sweet book that didn’t have much angst but still had a conflict, which is my favourite type of book and this book was a perfect take on that type of book. It offered me everything I want in a book and I loved it. Brief Summary Dylan has fantasized about being with a man but he hasn’t experienced what it’s like being with a man yet. However, he is absolutely obsessed with a porn star named Mark and watches all of his videos. Dylan works in a hotel and Mark goes there to film a video. They get to talking to each other, become good friends and then they fall in love. First, these two were such a good couple. I absolutely loved them together. I loved their acceptance of each other. I loved how they did everything to reassure each other when the situation called for me. I loved how they were always there for each other. I loved how they took care of each other. I loved how Mark was always observing Dylan and could tell when something was wrong. To be fair, I loved everything about them together. Second, the sexual exploration in this book was so good. I always love a good sexual exploration in books and this one was perfect for me. I loved seeing how Dylan wanted to try to be with a man but he was scared to. I loved seeing him come out of his shell and decide that he’s ready to explore. The entire process was so good and very realistic. Also, the sex scenes were very hot and I enjoyed them very much. I loved how they showed Dylan exploring many things, including different kinks, to see what he is into. Also, I loved how Mark never forced Dylan to come out and let him do it when he was ready. He was such a good cheering squad. I really loved how Dylan came to terms with his sexuality on his own terms. This definitely was a lovely depiction of sexual exploration and I adored it. Also, side note, I really loved how the sex scenes were done, they were great and they felt realistic because they were laced with the kind of worries one gets when trying new things in bed, which worked so well for me since it was Dylan’s first time exploring those things. Third, their communication was just so good. I loved how they talked about everything and made sure that when it was time to come up with a solution to any issue, they did it together. I loved that when they fought about something, they didn’t just leave each other, they talked about the situation until they both were happy again and that was it. It was so good and their way of solving conflicts was absolutely lovely to me. Fourth, my favourite type of books are the sweet lower angst books, but they still have conflict and this one was exactly that. It was sweet but never too sweet for me and I like how there was conflict but it never took over the sweet plot. The mix of everything worked so well for me, this book was a perfect combination of everything I love in a book. Fifth, I loved how Dylan had a family he was estranged from and that was manipulative was shown. I loved how Mark having a family who didn’t accept him was shown. I liked that it was shown in a realistic manner and that they didn’t just randomly forgive their families for no reason at some point. I liked that the book showed that sometimes it doesn’t work out with your family and that they just won’t accept you, no matter what you do. These were some of the most realistic portrayals of a family that didn’t really accept their kid that I have ever seen in a book and I adored it. I really appreciated how every side character in this book was very fleshed out and had motives and reasons to act the way they did, the characters were done in such a good way and I really appreciated it. I’m very excited for the next book in this series. In fact, I cannot wait for it, it sounds absolutely lovely to me. I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review.

K.C. Wells has been my big author discovery this year, it all started with Gay on a Train and the Maine Men series settled it. I've loved every single book in this series and this one wasn't any different. Dylan has been one of the friends that I've been most interested in reading his story. There was something about his quiet noisiness that had me all excited for his book. And boy, did it deliver. I was hooked from the very first page. I already knew I loved Dylan and I was soon just as in love K.C. Wells has been my big author discovery this year, it all started with Gay on a Train and the Maine Men series settled it. I already knew I loved Dylan and I was soon just as in love with Mark. They were great together. The way Mark was so understanding of Dylan and took his time letting him dream, explore and discover was heartwarming. This book was a little kinkier than the others but I really enjoyed that as well. It can be read as a standalone but I believe in reading this series in order the get the full picture of the amazing friendship going on between these guys. There's a lot of them and there's more guys added all the time, so it might be good for keeping track of the characters if nothing else. Next up is, Shaun. I can't wait.

Best one for me so far I enjoyed this one the most so far in this series, I loved both characters and believed in Dylan's journey of sexual discovery. Mark's experience within the sex industry was also well done, although again, as with the last book, I felt like I was being walked through a p*rn shot in some of the intimate scenes. Still, very sweet alongside the steam and I believed totally in them as a couple with a happy ending. I love these books. I’m sure I said that before. Anyway, it’s so much fun to go back and visit with all the wonderful characters in these stories. Dylan was my least favorite character so I was hesitant about just reading his story so I waited for the audiobook and John Solo. It did take me a little longer to get into the story but I soon was in love with Dylan and Mark.

    * 3.5 stars * "Dylan's Dilemma" is the fourth book in a series about eight friends who met in high school and are still living in Maine and relatively close to each other. This was the first book I read of the series and I have to say that I was a little bit lost during the first chapter. I believe that it starts right where the previous story ended, but we just get thrown in, reading a scene out of context. I got with the program a little bit later though and once that happened, everything moved * 3.5 stars * "Dylan's Dilemma" is the fourth book in a series about eight friends who met in high school and are still living in Maine and relatively close to each other. I believe that it starts right where the previous story ended, but we just get thrown in, reading a scene out of context. I got with the program a little bit later though and once that happened, everything moved along much more smoothly. Other that the opening scene of the story, this can work as a standalone. It has a new main couple and the previous characters don't have a strong presence in the story. Honestly, for a supposedly tight knit group, they didn't communicate or meet often. I was slightly disappointed by that. The main characters in this book are Dylan, one of the aforementioned eight friends, and Mark. Dylan has been working in a local hotel since he was eighteen and he's happy with his life. He's on the verge of coming to terms with the fact that there's a possibility he might be bisexual instead of straight, but his family's toxic comments and ideas are subconsciously keeping him back from acknowledging his true self and even from believing he deserves to be happy. Mark has been working as a porn star for about eighteen years and he's starting to feel the need for something else in life. He's not in contact with his family, because they won't accept him being gay, and, even though he has many work acquaintances, he doesn't really have any friends. When the two meet, they start spending time together with the plan of Dylan showing Mark around town. Soon, they can't deny their attraction any more and move from tentative friends to lovers. The whole thing though is as if it exists in a bubble for most of the story. They mainly spend time just the two of them with occasional quick scenes of one of them interacting with someone else. For the majority of the story, there's an uncertainty about whether Mark will continue making videos or he'll move on to something else, and I have to say that I was disappointed with the end result. But I'm sure that other readers will feel differently. It's an interesting story with some great scene descriptions about places around Wells, the characters were pleasant and the plot was engaging. The pace of the relationship was fairly fast and I would have liked to see more scenes of them being in the outside world as a couple. In general, I liked the book and I had fun while reading it, I think that I'll keep an eye out for the rest of the stories, especially Levi's, as I really want to learn who he'll end up with and who he's in love with. ~ I read an ARC of this book. ~

Then he meets the cute guy from the hotel again. Dylan is different, they talk and Dylan isn’t asking for selfies or porn stories. They clicked, as friends, of course, nothing more. Mark is lonely, Dylan is great company, he knows Maine and shows Mark around. Their friendship is precious, while they are quite different, in years, work, and personality, they have similarities where they can give each other some hard needed support. At some point, there is a drastic turn with their involvement. I must confess it took me a while to warm up to the story and both guys, separately I liked them, together not so, for me it was all way too sweet and even a bit *whisper* boring. But on the way it got much better for me, the connection between them got stronger, more palpable, there was some more excitement and I felt more connected. The writing is smooth, friendly, and captivatingly streamlined. A sweet story, not my favorite of this series, still enjoyable, we meet all the Maine Men again, and in the center is granny, I loved that. Looking forward to the next installment. First times that rocked his world, while they both got satisfaction, intensity and passionate embraces, plus the friends move to lovers, and much more. Dylan and Mark are both very different personalities, but both have one thing in common, their truly awful families. Dylan's family don't like his friends and have spent most of his upbringing making negative comments towards him and what he does, resulting in Dylan moving out as soon as he could and thinking he is abnormal and lacking in confidence. Marks family, apart from his Grandpa, disowned him when he came out as gay. While Dylan lacks confidence, Mark rebelled and set out to be a popular and successful porn star. When a shoot at a local hotel is stopped by the hotel manager, it doesn't take Mark long to realise how he found out when he recognizes Dylan sulking in a coffee shop. The two begin chatting and discover how well they get on together and become good friends. Dylan then realises that he is bi and asks Mark to help him understand his feelings. The journey into hotness and love begins, with both men having to overcome some life challenges before reaching their HEA. Being a KC Wells book, the story flowed wonderfully and also included characters from previous books. I especially loved Sebs reaction to Mark (yes of course he recognised him), which made me laugh, as did Marcus's attempt to reign him in. I can definitely recommend this book which can be read as a stand alone, but to get the most from the story, it's better read in the order of the series. i was kindly gifted an ARC for an honest review.

I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did, I won’t lie! Dylan from the jump was someone I connected to, and that really helped to pull me into his story. I do kinda of wish I read the previous 3 books in this series, just because the relationships formed are brought up a lot and I felt a little in the dark, but that didn’t take away from the story. We all have a *celebrity* crush, so it’s fun to see, in an obviously best case scenario way, how that would play out. Dylan’s questioning his sexuality, as well as Mark’s family past and the reaction previous guys have had to his profession. I enjoyed reading Mark help Dylan become more comfortable with himself in his skin. This was all heightened by a stellar cast of b-List characters (again, I gotta go back and read those other books now). Marks grandpa is the real MVP of this story. The spicy scenes were fantastic as well, just the right amount of spice to pull you in without taking away or cheapening the plot. A lovey read, for sure

My heart did hurt a bit due to the treatment Mark received from his family and also how Dylan’s parents were quite toxic towards their son. But my heart was also very happy when they got their HEA. I found this to be an easy and enjoyable read with a great cast of characters to hold my interest and I look forward to Shaun getting his story told next.

Marvel. Uncover. Probe! A chance meeting your fantasy man, that’s exactly how Hotel Reception Desk Manager Dylan’s and Porn Actor Mark’s relationship begins. I enjoyed the interesting enough premise with its likable MCs and all the bits and pieces of this series. A good, easy read.

I loved Dylan's Dilemma! It is a beautiful story. Dylan and Mark are perfect for each other. They are a sweet couple. I was so glad they were there for each other. Both families made me want to scream, But I loved the unconditional love and acceptance from Daylan's friends. I can't wait for Shaun's story. I loved Dylan's Dilemma! It is a beautiful story. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐️⭐️ Verse couple ftw! I definitely enjoyed reading about Dylan and Mark. I appreciate the author mentioning prep and testing every three months. The attention to detail really adds to the story. Book finished on April 25th, 2022.

Dylan’s Dilemma Maine Men, Book 4 By: K.C. Wells Narrated by: John Solo I loved everything about this beautifully captivating and heartfelt story, from K.C. Wells’ wonderful writing style to the characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrator who brings it all to life from the pages to your ears. Each book in this series is amazing in their own way, just as each of the Maine men are, this one tugged on my heartstrings and quickly became one of my favorites. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are also easy to like and care about. I adored both leads, Dylan Martin and Mark Roman, Dylan’s parents did not approve of his friends, the other Maine men he grew up with, because they were gay, despite that he was straight yet he always tried to appease them, but nothing he did was good enough even being promoted in his job at the Ogunquit Hotel. Thankfully, his friends are there for him, but he hides a little of himself from them, one being his love of watching gay porn, but he opens up a bit to Marcus, Seb’s new boyfriend and he gets some good advice from him. Dylan noticed one of his favorite porn stars, Mark Roman, used his hotel to film his show, so when he sees him there again, he feels obligated to let his boss know. He feels guilty having to rat him out, but he apologizes to Mark when he runs into him at the bar that night. The two hit it off, and a friendship develops between them and once they get more comfortable with each other, they open up about their lives and feelings. Mark’s family life was not much different from Dylan’s, except they actually disowned him and the reason he sent out to make it on his own and starting a career in porn. These two were great together, the chemistry between them was through the roof, Mark’s patience with Dylan was amazing and just what he needed, but it turns out Dylan was just what Mark needed. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is wonderfully plotted with plenty of drama, heartfelt emotions and some smoking hot romance. K.C. Wells, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, John Solo continues to deliver an outstanding performance as he brings these characters and their to life. HIs character voices are exceptional and consistent throughout the series, he has a complete understanding of teach character he portrays, gives each a voice that suits that character’s persona perfectly and sounds believable in every role he plays. He sets the perfect tone for the story, captures all the characters’ emotions and projects them into his performance. This mega talented voice artist is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another top quality listen.

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks" I really enjoyed the 4th book in the Maine Men series by K.C. Wells. Mark and Dylan started off with quickly forming a tight friendship. They came to rely on each other, and used each other as a sounding board for their problems. Dylan opened himself to another person for maybe the first time in his life. Even his amazing group of friends don't really truly know Dylan other than what he lets them see. It made me sad for him, because after 4 books you can tell that they were the type of men who would have been there for their friend is a hot minute. Mark is an adult film star who is getting tired of the game. He's moved to Wells, Maine and is working on finding balance in his life. His friendship with Dylan is a good start. I loved how they spent time together seeing the sights of Maine. The Marginal Way is a beautiful walk and if you have a chance to visit while in Maine, I highly suggest the scenic stroll. It was very sweet watching Mark and Dylan fall for each other. They formed a bond so quickly, that the progression of their relationship into more seemed inevitable. Mark provided Dylan a safe place to be himself and express his hidden desires without judgement. Dylan was someone who saw Mark for who he was, not the man behind the camera. He never shamed Mark for his career, in fact he actively took a interest in it in a positive way. It was a far cry from many others who couldn't handle having Mark in their life doing what he did. Next up is Shaun's book, Shaun's Salvation, which is slated to come out January of 2022. That leaves Levi, Noah, and Aaron left. We've known since book 1 that Levi is in love with someone in the group, so his prospects are now down to Noah and Aaron. There may or may not have been a tiny subtle hint in this one, so keep your brain on when reading and let me know what you think!

Dylan’s Dilemma is a sweet and sexy story about a curious hotel supervisor and a well-known gay porn star who start as friends and become something more. Dylan considers himself straight but is curious about being with a man. He secretly watches gay porn and has a favorite actor, Mark Roman. Dylan’s boss is an uptight jerk who realizes what’s happening and kicks them out after confronting Dylan about the group of hot men with camera equipment. Dylan and Mark run into each other at a cafe, Dylan is embarrassed and apologetic, so Mark asks Dylan to show him around Wells since he’s fairly new in town and doesn’t have any friends there. They have an instant comfort with one another that turns into a really sweet friendship. Mark is lonely and wants to find love, but his job makes that really difficult. He wants someone who truly sees him as a person instead of his film persona, and Dylan seems unaffected by everything. Even though most of his friends are gay, Dylan struggles with his sexuality. He finally gets up the courage to act on his attraction to Mark. The two have wonderful chemistry and are able to be themselves with one another. They both have difficult families and form a fast bond. I love that KC Wells humanizes Mark and gives a more realistic view of his profession. Dylan doesn’t judge Mark for what he does, and Mark is so kind and patient with Dylan as he explores parts of himself that he’s been too afraid to reveal to anyone else. They’re a lovely couple, and Dylan’s Dilemma is a great addition to the Maine Men series, continuing to build on the theme of found family.

Dylan and Mark’s story is an interesting one. My first thought was to give it a 4 star, but as the feels settled and I had a chance to really think about the story it dropped to a 3.5. Dylan has thought he was bi for awhile. As any curious person would, he watched porn to see what tripped his trigger. This is where he sees Mark for the first time. He likes what he sees, but he’s nervous because when he expressed certain interests to a previous partner, they were aghast so he thought no one would Dylan and Mark’s story is an interesting one. So, we meet Mark when he checks into the hotel where Dylan works. He plans to use the room to film a scene, but the manager is a douche and those plans are thwarted. Mark makes a joke that Dylan should do a scene with him since he wasn’t able to do the one he planned, which brings us to the beginning of their friendship/relationship. Their journey to HEA only has one major hurdle to overcome and when it comes out, nothing about it is shown on the page. There’s some dirty talk with references to his kinks and one “scene” that really isn’t, which rather killed things imho. If you’re going to assert that kinks are okay, the logical progression would be to have a couple of scenes that actually demonstrate said acceptance. It also would have been nice to have the flip side happen when it was put on the table as an option. Even if it was simply to determine if he’s actually vers. The story itself is okay, it’s the details that drag it down. If details aren’t important to you, then I would certainly recommend this book. Kink Scale rating: 2 for a short list of kinks which includes a Saint Andrews Cross, with no real demonstration on the page. It was practically vanilla.

After Dylan’s boss inevitably finds out (helped along by questioning Dylan) and Mark has to leave the hotel, when he sees Dylan again in a local bar the two strike up a very tentative friendship with Dylan ending up acting as a bit of a local tour guide for Mark. Rather than being angry over the situation and Dylan’s role in it, Mark embraces the situation and it’s obvious that he’s equally curious about Dylan. I really enjoyed the build up of chemistry between them. Both characters have family issues in their past - and that sometimes crop up in their current lives - that they have to handle, and I loved the support they gave each other. We see quite a bit of the friends and Grammy too - I like series that stick with the same group, it’s like getting bonus epilogue scenes of what comes after their HEAs. In particular with this one I loved the chats with Marcus and the advice he gives and I’m more curious than ever about his nephew’s story. In summary this one was another winner for me and I look forward to the next one.

ARC received from GRR for an honest review. Dylan is one of the eight best friends from HS. He's always thought of himself as straight but he's fallen into watching gay porn and is wondering if he's actually bi. He also finds himself enamored by one particular porn star, Mark. When he notices one of the videos is made in the hotel he manages, he's excited and worried that Mark will come back to film there again, as that would put his job on the line. Mark is looking to find that special someone and get out of porn as well and he thinks Dylan may be the one. Dylan and Mark come from similar messed up families and they have a lot in common. Will this be enough to make a relationship work? I liked this story more than the previous three. I think the chemistry between the two MCs started off slow but does evolve into something that could be lasting. I didn't like that Dylan asked Mark to be held and basically romanced and he was given homework and porn sex. It took awhile before I felt like Mark was giving Dylan what he actually asked for. All in all it's a nice read with just a few bumps IMO.

'Explore. Dream. Discover. Dylan had the dream part down - he wasn't sure he had enough courage for the other two.' 4-4.5 stars. This is the 4th in the Maine Men series, it can be enjoyed as a standalone but I'd recommend the other books as they'll give you a real feel for the world building the author has done with the other characters so far. If I'm honest I'm usually a little wary when one of the MCs is a porn star as that can be hit or miss for me. I knew I shouldn't worry with K.C. Wells thoug 'Explore. Dream. Discover. Mark Roman is not what I expected and I mean that in absolutely the best way. He's someone I really liked getting to know, he's kind and considerate towards Dylan and the two together are the sweetest thing. He just happens to do porn for a living, it's just another job. I didn't know too much about Dylan going in, in the other books he's little more than a cameo but I liked getting know more about him and the issues with his family. It was so good to see Dylan blooming and coming out of his shell the more time he spent with Mark. These two really are perfect for each other and bring the best out in the other. Loved Mark's back story with his grandfather and finally getting that closure with his family too. I really enjoyed this one, I think the first book is still my favourite but this is a close second for me. K.C. Wells has done it again. I received an ARC from GRR and this is my honest review.

I have loved every book in the Maine Men series, and the fourth book is no different. There is something about the way that Wells writes these men that always feels so genuine - especially when the core group of the Maine Men are together with their new partners. He's always been aware of his bicuriosity, but due to factors beyond his control, he's never had a chance to explore. Enter Mark - a gay porn star that Dylan has taken to watching. Dylan recognizes the hotel he works at in one of Mark's videos and a few weeks later, recognizes Mark himself when he checks in to film. This kicks off a period of exploration and bonding between Mark and Dylan that readers will fall in love with. I know that I did. The way these two men started to communicate, the fact that Mark was so patient with Dylan and willing to let him take things as slowly or as quickly as he needed, the way they supported one another - including the way Dylan handled Mark's career... it was all just so amazingly done. Warning: there is reference to Mark having sex with other men on the page due to his career. It is not in relation to his relationship with Dylan and while before and after scenes and discussions are on page, the scenes of Mark with anyone else occur largely off page. ** ARC PROVIDED BY GRR FOR HONEST REVIEW **

Not my favorite in the series (that would probably be "Seb's Summer") but still very enjoyable. Dylan is beginning to question his sexuality when he's confronted by temptation in the flesh, Mark Roman, one of Dylan's favorite porn stars. Anyway, Mark's intended filming is thwarted but he finds himself fascinated by Dylan and they have a series of "dates" during which they get to know one another. The relationship progresses nicely and believably and Wells, as always, depicts some sizzling chemistry between her characters. What starts off as friendship becomes much more as Mark tutors very willing student Dylan in gay relationships and sexuality. There's also some interesting subtext and commentary on social mores as Wells depicts Mark's struggles to move on from porn to a "real job" and how people in sex work are demeaned by those outside of it. And there are some cute scenes with Dylan's friends as they realize who Dylan's new boyfriend is. The Maine Men series is becoming comfort food of a sorts for me - reliably entertaining while not being insulting to one's intelligence and depicting characters who are relatable and interesting. I find it interesting that several of them are going after older men. Hmmm. Well, anyway, I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment in the series.

Both have issues with their family that they support each other with along with the emotional ups and downs that they experience throughout the story. The heat level starts out slow but soon ignites and I will definitely not look at a pool table in the same way again! I loved the development of their friendship into so much more than either could have anticipated and the drama that came along with some of the other people in their lives. Dylan's confidence grows thanks to the trust and support from Mark, and it's heartwarming knowing that his found family is always there in the background. I'm really looking forward to the next book that gives Shaun his story. I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

A story of two men beginning new stages of their lives together and figuring out who they want to be. That is how I would describe Dylan’s Dilemma, book 4 in K.C. Wells Maine Men series. I have read the previous 3 books in this series and have thoroughly enjoyed them all and this book continued me down this happy reading road. Wells Maine Men series. I have read the previous 3 books in this series and have thoroughly enjoyed them all and this book continued me down this happy reading road. Dylan is another member of the friend group who identifies to his friends as straight, but internally has been questioning this for a while. One night while working at his Hotel job, he comes face to face with one of his online crushes in Mark, a long time porn star. Porn is all Mark has known during his Adult life. Can he find out who he is without it? As the two start out as friends, that friendship changes to more as they both help each other to discover who they really want to be and to accept themselves fully. I really enjoy how the author is open and up front when discussing both emotions and also kinks, showing us that there is power when you have open and free discussion in a relationship. It's when those channels get blocked that problems start to arise and have to be worked through. If you haven’t read the earlier stories, I recommend grabbing them as there is overlap, but you will still love this story even if you haven’t met the rest of the gang yet.
