You know the deal with most super heroes, right? Usually they're bombarded with cosmic rays or gamma radiation or maybe they find a mystical artifact and gain special abilities. Well, Basilisk turns that concept on its head, showing how that can go horribly wrong. Five individuals were changed, but they're not leaping over tall buildings in a single bound. They're leaving a trail of bodies behind them. Now, one of them has broken free, but it's only a matter of time before she's found. You can re You know the deal with most super heroes, right? Hoooo boy, this was a fun read. In my experience, Cullen Bunn’s writing has been a mixed bag. I admire his vision for new and experimental horror in comics and even if it doesn’t always stick the landing, I’m appreciative of his contributions to the genre. This issue was a lot of fun to read, great art, great panel flow, smooth dialogue. I’m very excited to read the next issue.

super natural x-men? This was an okay start. Not a lot of information is given to you in this first issue but it did have some good moments. I really like the art and the characters are interesting enough that I'll at least try issue two. super natural x-men? This was an okay start. Fun and entertaining.. I just hope that it was made into a whole graphic novel instead of a serial comic..
