Not again I do love V. E but this is getting repetitive this is supposed to be about Charlotte but we don't see her instead we go back on how everything started Not again I do love V. Mostly a recap of the book in the first issue which is disappointing but necessary. It is nice to see Victor and Eli in person.

Wasn’t consistent with earlier story I loved seeing pieces from the original story in graphic novel form, but I distinctly remember the experiments being Victor’s idea, not Eli’s

It was sooooooooooo good to have a visual representation of the events that go down in Vicious! I absolutely love the dynamic between Victor and Eli and how so very twisted they are. I wonder if people will be able to understand what's going on if they haven't read the books. Anyways, I see a lot of people disappointed for it being a short graphic version of Vicious, for me it was actually what I liked best (candy for the fans). This makes me want to read my copy of Vicious…! I should stop procrastinating and just do it already haha! I really enjoyed this. :) The characters were interesting and I cared about them even after only a few pages. Loved it. Looking forward to more!

There's nothing inherently wrong with this - the art style is fantastic - but this is just a recap of the first book, honestly. Which is fine, if that's what this had been marketed as? I thought this was going to be focusing on Charlotte's story, though. It seems like the comics from here on out will, so I'm really looking forward to that. I just... Even if the issue had been split in half, half recap and half starting the new plot, that would've felt better. Anyway, I will say that it felt really good to see Victor and Eli again, even if I wanted new material. Especially Victor. I've never rooted for an anti-hero like I did for Victor Vale, and I've missed him.

This is pretty much a recap of Vicious. The big problem is that some of the things (I'm pretty sure) are not the same as the book. I really don't like how the characters look. They look like they are like 10 years old. I was really exited to see more of the new character. The problem with transforming a book to a comic book is that the characters feel blend compare to the original story. Nothing new was put in there. I really hope we get more than just a recap in the next issue.

this issue was a lot more enjoyable than the first one. it was pretty interesting to get the perspective of the Villian of the story and finding out his reasons for wanting to kill other people that are like him. I did feel that the it was a little rushed towards the end but overall it was pretty good read.

Lovely illustrations but I really did not need just a recap of Vicious. I bet the majority of people that pick up this graphic novel do so because they have read the books. This was a lot shorter than I was expecting so there was room to add more to the recap or pickup where the last graphic novel ended. Hopefully the next in the series will be longer.

[2.5 Stars] This was basically just a recap of Vicious, didn't really add anything new to the storyline. It makes sense that the recap was included (helps establish the storyline), but I wish it was more than just a recap. Issue one is pretty much a refresher for the Villains series between Eli & Victor and how the EON exists. Wonderful lead in to the new series, super excited for more Charlotte content coming in issue #2!

To be honest I’m extremely disappointed. This was just a summary of Vicious. I hope the next volume will be better. Also I imagined Victor to look different.

Half of #1 is just rehashing everything that happened in Vicious. But the tie in leading up to what's coming next makes it worth the read. Can't wait to get my hands on the rest of this series.
