3.5 stars. We get a quick back story on how the kids met. We also learn a little bit about what the house is up to. Pretty solid issue.

Not the scariest horror I read, but I am liking the progression so far.

I'm enchanted by the artwork in this series. I rated this three stars because I'm not sure where the story is heading? I could honestly page through each issue and look at the art on its own without knowing much about the story. (view spoiler)[ Ami is shown collecting a ghost that's inhabited a horseshoe. I'm not sure why Ami is hunting ghosts for the house? It wasn't made super clear as to why Ami is doing the house's bidding. Is it because the house has possessed Ami? Buzz and Rip are question I'm enchanted by the artwork in this series. I rated this three stars because I'm not sure where the story is heading? This is the same cop Rip kicked in the face during the concert in the first issue. (hide spoiler)] 3.5 stars.

Second issue even better than the first! Really cool dynamic for a haunted house and its ghosts, and I am very excited for more. The Lucky Horseshoe story arc within this issue was beautiful, tragic, and immensely compelling, and it left me feeling as haunted as the characters. I loved every moment of it.

Still a very strong new comic, particularly art and story-wise, but sometimes Watters slips out of what I think of as "good teen writing" into something a little too formal for the characters and a little too (mainly in the case of issue 1) British. Still invested in both the characters and plot. This series is off to a great start! Its like a 90's grunge version of Oliver Twist meets a hyper violent 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. The sentient haunted house adds an interesting layer. I can't wait to see where it goes! This series is off to a great start! Its like a 90's grunge version of Oliver Twist meets a hyper violent 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. A nice continuation to the series. I am really in love with the art style and colour. I would literally read the comic for that alone. Can't wait to read the next one! Another great entry into this series. Could use a little deeper world-building and a bit slower pace, but I really do enjoy what Watters and his team have done.
