This issue’s one of my favourites, because you can tell Maika’s starting to realize just how much power she has and is exercising it not in flaunting it but in strategically using it in key moments that turn the tide in her favour. I love that a core part of Maika’s journey is learning that gentleness is not a weakness.

Not my favorite issue. With the cliffhanger in #31, I just expected more of a punch from this issue. A main subplot finally came to a head, and I'm just a bit disappointed with the outcome. Let's be real, I love this story, and I eagerly await the release of #33 so I can lap up more of this world and it's characters. Hopefully the next one has the excitement I was anticipating.
