Overall this book was pretty good with us finding out more about the world and more backstory about the characters. The secondary characters are fleshed out more to make them more compelling and we begin to see how the MC will power up as the series continues.

Slightly different tone from the first
So the story continues. Slightly different tone in this book early on a little bit of betrayal. However the same subtext continuous the MC needs bondmates. Good news as you weren't about a few more of the big players in the biz and what kind of future our reluctant hero will have. The sex is part of the story line of course And not intrusive. If i were to have a complaint is that the MC is a little weak on fighting. Reluctant might be a better term. Consider Slightly different tone from the first

Considering his heritage he needs to step up his game and be more enthusiastic as everybody is going to be gunning for him. In the end it's not just his rear on the line it's his bond makes as well. Anthony Needs to step up his game if you wants to protect himself and he's man mates he must obviously look for more at the same time maximize his combat ability with what he has. I've enjoyed the series of far and will hopefully enjoy he future books.

Great story continues, bad editing.
I have enjoyed many of Brandon's books. This one had several proofreading issues. It was almost as if the version uploaded to Amazon was the one before they fixed all the issues.
Examples such as lubrication INCREASES friction, wrong character names used, "run" instead of "gun", "sick" instead of "sic", and wrong pronouns. Seems like this one came out before the final polish applied. Great story continues, bad editing.

A a spicy light novel urban fantasy
I really enjoyed this type of story it reminds me of the Japanese light novels but it has more violence and sex in it and a main character that's not afraid of his own shadow. I hope the third book comes soon would love to read it had a lot of fun with this one. A a spicy light novel urban fantasy

Love this series.
Brandon Varnell is one of my favorite authors, I love all of his books and this series is as great as all of his others. The characters are well developed and loveable, the story is well thought out and flows really well. I can't wait for the next book. Love this series.

Fun continuation of a academy series
I love this stuff where an author takes a genre, like the academy island one, and adds their own spin and personal flare. Super happy to see it continued and I look forward to the next one!

The writing, characters, and world are all fine, it just isn't for me. The writing, characters, and world are all fine, it just isn't for me.

Pretty good so far
Has good potential and story line. The characters could be more flushed out and deeper but overall a enjoyable book nonetheless. Wish it was longer
