I've really enjoyed this from start to finish. I wasn't actually expecting it to be over already. Well, I mean...ten volumes. It's had a good run, I guess I just thought we had a few more stories to tell. This picks up after the battle from the last volume has been over for quite some time, and all of the characters are dealing with the fallout from the magical war. The title Epilogue feels right because this was all about wrapping up the loose ends. It wasn't perfect, but it was sweet. And I love I've really enjoyed this from start to finish. I got the impression that Williamson felt like he might want to come back and revisit this world and these characters again someday, because the ending feels open to that sort of scenario. If so, I'll get in line and hand over my money. Recommended for fantasy lovers.

And then the final volume is here! It deals with the fallout of the war as Mikey has to fight the monsters still roaming and the black market always has scope for post war stuff and the battle there is fun. Good convos with Boomer. And we finally check in on with Brennan and where he has been which is interesting and finally the rescue of the parents at great cost and that was an emotional reunion but yeah the cost was heavy and finally an ending worthy of applause when the whole story comes toge And then the final volume is here! This was a great volume and was quick paced but deals with the fallout in fun manner and showing everything has a price but its worth it. And I really liked how the artist let loose and he drew so many cool scenes and all and finally the ending connected to the first issue and hits home the concept of family. Ahh great volume and sad to see it end but loved the whole story all the way through and probably one of the best comic runs I have read!

A very entertaining High Fantasy that is done completely by one author and one artist. Don't see that very often for a 50 issue run. I'm surprised this series hasn't had an oversized, hardcover edition but perhaps we'll see one in the future. A very entertaining High Fantasy that is done completely by one author and one artist. Very good finale to this original and exciting series. I haven’t read any volumes after #6 but nonetheless enjoyed this final part of this comic book fantasy series. It’s not hard to work out what has happened before and the main characters all appear and are developed further. It’s entertaining and nicely illustrated and the whole series is well worth the time and effort.I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

Not a terrible end to a totally middling series. Most of the fantasy tropes and shtick in these books wore off really quickly for me, so I'm glad we're though. I had way more fun shit talking it on goodreads than actually reading it. For fans of: families that need to stick together for like 1,200 pages and mostly do exactly what you expect them to. 4/5 With a title like Epilogue you obviously realize that you've reached the end. While Birthright wasn't a gamechanger for the comic book industry in my opinion, it was still an enjoyable read from beginning to end. Is it a story that I'll read again down the road? Probably not. But I will remember some of the better moments of it in the future, and perhaps compare other like stories to it. While this seems like a short and sweet review, it's also what this short and not so sweet series deserves 4/5 With a title like Epilogue you obviously realize that you've reached the end. I was familiar with Williamson's work through Nailbiter and I was almost expecting some of those same twist and turns throughout. I didn't get that with Birthright. But in writing this review I discovered that there's a new volume for Nailbiter out which I had no idea about. Guess what I just put on hold at the library?!
