Ever held a seance and accidentally trapped a demon into marriage? No takers? Just me? Crap. Marriage is my idea of hell, at least until the day an unfairly hot demon shows up in my apartment and drags me to actual Hell—as his wife. I’d honestly rather have a root canal without sedation than marry anyone, least of all a surly—even if damnably attractive—demon, but I’m bound to the contract stupid teenage Me made with Azazel when I accidentally summoned and trapped him into marriage, to be consummated if I were still single at twenty-five. I’d forgotten all about it. He hasn’t. And now he’s here to claim me. Neither of us is thrilled about this marriage-of-inconvenience, but what I hate even more than the idea of being married...is being ignored. So when Azazel intends to simply park me out of sight and mind at the other end of his estate in Hell, I make it my newly eternal life’s mission to be as much of a real inconvenience for him as possible. It’s all fun and games, until I find a soul that shouldn’t be in Hell, stumble smack-dab into the middle of a demon family feud…and the banter between me and Azazel turns so hot it might consume me.

I thought I would dislike this but it was quite entertaining! The hero at first seemed like a huge asshole but once you understand his backstory it makes sense and he makes up for it. I really liked the heroine cause she was quirky, funny, and adaptable, and she has a clumsy hellhound named Vengence, that's too cute. I am curious to see if there will be another book in this series about this couple, I feel like there is so much more to their story! I thought I would dislike this but it was quite entertaining! Taut, Engaging and Enchanting. This is the first book in the Infernal Covenant series and it's off to a brilliant start. This story has my favourite elements - a marriage of inconvenience, banter, feuds, twists and unexpected cuteness. Azazel and Zoe are well matched in a battle of wits and wills. Azazel and Zoe are sweet, warm, compelling and hilarious together. Perfect. I could not put the book down and finished it too soon. Bonus brownie points. Watch out for Vengeance. She is terrific. I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. Waiting eagerly for the next book in the series.

Awesome! Another great paranormal read from Nadine Mutas. I couldn't stop once it drew me in, and I had the sleep deprivation to prove it. I was literally laughing out loud repeatedly, had moments of suspense wondering what was next, and a great story overall. Awesome! Another great paranormal read from Nadine Mutas. I am a huge fan of Nadine Mutas. So far she always came up with wonderful characters and magical storylines. Of course I was super excited for her new book which features a very interesting relationship between a human and a demon. The book starts with very funny scenes. Zoe had no idea that she made a marriage deal with an actual demon. But which 13 year old girl would ever believe that demons actually exist? When Azazel surprises her a lot is going to change for Zoe. He takes her to hell and she has to learn a lot about the magical world. I loved the worldbuilding. It was amazing to see how Nadine combined so many myths and legends just naturally. Most of time I was just agreeing because everything sounded reasonable. The paranormal parts were also mixed with a lot of movie/show references which I loved as well. They just fitted in so perfectly and Zoe literally repeated my own thoughts. The amount of these references was perfect, not too much to be annoying but just enough to make this book even more authentic and funny. Many books are funny and make me smile or grin during reading but only a handful of authors actually manage to make me laugh out loud (which can result in strangers eyeing me conspiracingly when I read outside of my house) and HEA definitely was one of these books. Some scenes were extremely hilarious. I think there is no way to not fall in love with Zoe. Sometimes she seems completely nuts but in a very sympathetic way. I loved her inner monologues and banter with Azazel. These two completely stole my heart and I really hope we will get another book. There is definitely so much to tell and side characters who deserve their own story. I don’t want to talk much about the plot because of spoilers, but it was a wonderful combination of humour, romance and suspense. I just thought this would be a hilarious book, a fun read, but the author managed to also add a very emotional part and depth. I am completely breathless because i didn’t expect it. I really have nothing to complain or something that I disliked. The characters are wonderful, the dialogs are witty and the plot is exciting. There are so many scenes that I would love to fangirl about! This was definitely a highlight of 2020. Oh and after reading this book I definitely want my own hellcat and hellhound. If you haven’t read the book you won‘t understand it, so I suggest to read it. Trust me this hellcat is awesome, even though not always very helpful :-D I was provided with an ARC. Thank you so much Nadine. I can’t wait to read your next book!

It was a visual shock to all my senses that left me stunned and amazed! Azazel is one awe-inspiring demon who is, hands down, the sexiest and surprising hero I have read this year! He is dangerous and at first, seemed irritated and aloof but as the story unfolded, I seen him transform into a seriously devastatingly charming and sinful hero who made my heart flip flop in my chest. And Zoe is his perfect match in every way, even if she is a human! She is witty, beautiful, stubborn and fun...I liked her immensely! The crackling energy between Azazel and Zoe made sparks pop and fizzle with every turn of the page and every sexually charged encounter. Their banter had me laughing out loud while their story gave me SO MANY OF THE FEELS! In fact I was almost raw from some of the unexpected seriousness and heart wrenching scenes that had tears spilling down my cheeks. This was one story I can honestly say is the BEST BOOK I HAVE READ THIS YEAR! HANDS. FREAKING. DOWN. I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved this book. I am already thinking about jumping back to the very beginning and starting it again because this book, to me, was EVERYTHING! I really...REALLY hope this comes out on paperback because I WANT IT! Like REALLY REALLY BAD want it. I am BLOWN THE EFF AWAY by Hellishly Ever After! This deliciously, amazing book, gets a INIFINITE AMOUNT OF STARS! I honestly can't even come up with a number that makes sense...THATS HOW GOOD THIS BOOK WAS! It is SOOOOOOOO WORTH THE WAIT! AN ABSOLUTE TREASURE THROUGH AND THROUGH!

I loved this book so much! Especially loved the heart and warmth of it. In particular, I love how what's starts off as a comedy blossoms into unpacking trauma and a very interesting take on Heaven/Hell dynamics. It was like reading a history/mythology book. I see the world building that Nadine Mutas is doing in Hellishly Everafter and I'm here for it! I'm a long time fan of the author's and this book does not disappoint. Solid 4-4.5 stars. I love Nadine Mutas. Her Love and Magic series is...*chefs kiss*, especially books 1&4 🙌🏻♥️ so I was excited to see what new world and characters she had in store for us. I thoroughly enjoyed this and can't wait to see where it goes. Going in I wasn't sure going in if this was a different couple every book type of series or a one couple many books series and it's definitely the later which I would've preferred to know, but not a big deal. It probably says somewhere and I just didn't remember lol thankfully there's no big cliff hanger so it's not an unbearable wait for their next book, but I am curious to read more about Zoe & Azazel. The world Nadine built is great, very much how I'd imagine Hell and what I'd think of for the mythology, etc. Without spoiling anything the circumstances/stipulations of Zoe getting dragged to Hell are a bit more fucking tragic than I was expecting, which given it's Hell it's more realistic I suppose. And speaking of Hell... Nadine did not romanticize that place... 10/10 would not want to go... Beasts, spontaneous fire, gloomy weird skies, souls endlessly tortured for you to hear, danger everywhere... I suppose maybe if I had my own Azazel I'd think about it, but jeez that place is no picnic. I don't know if it's just because it's my time of the month or I'm just more of a lil bitch than I want to accept, but I cried no less than 5 times reading this... I know. Wtf. This wasn't a depressing book or anything, but Zoe goes through a lot adjusting to Hell and all that comes with that transition (and other things) so basically any time she cried, I cried lol not to say she's a cry baby, definitely not, but damn I felt for her in this book. Overall, this was an entertaining read and I would recommend it. I'm excited to see what's next from Nadine (yay, Tazel!) and I'm happy to have her back to writing and sharing her stories with us ♥️

First off, I have to say I was incredibly impressed with this novel.   1. Zoe is such an identifiable character.  Her klutziness, conversations with herself, how she rationalizes situations, and stubbornness to accept an unacceptable situation is what endeared me most to her.   2. Azazel's character was equally impressive.  In no way was he too alpha nor too soft.  He provided the right balance as situations happened and as the story progressed. 3. The world building - the details to Azazel's home, immediate surroundings, Lucifer's domain - they were all significant details.  I was able to picture these places easily.  5. The connection - my goodness,s do you have a way with words, Nadine!  The emotional connection, the interaction, the words - it all was felt deeply.  How you can write emotions, thoughts, and feelings so flawlessly for me, as a reader, to handle them at the moment is... sublime.  You are a magician!

Look this was a fun romp of a book. A few critiques: - ban one person POV romance books. I hate when authors don't include the male (or just the other person's POV). Nadine Mutas writes really well from a dual POV (hello Rhun freaking loved him). - Zoe and Az both suck for the first 20% of the book. She's obnoxious, the situation is definitely her fault and she handles it like shit. Az also handles things like an utter asshole, but they do work through it after little bit. - please tell me we're g Look this was a fun romp of a book. But I probably won't continue to read the series if it's a continuation/especially if it's going to be a long series. That's a me specific critique, I know lots of people like that sort of thing. For example, I love Ilona Andrews series but I hate that they're so freaking long. 3 book series = work for me, 10 book series with the same central couple- ugh. Anyway... I'd recommend this series if it sparks your interest or you already have read Mutas. If you haven't, start with To Seduce a Witches Heart, because that book is heart eyes all over the place.

Pretty good. Some grammatical and spelling errors, which is always disappointing for me personally because it snaps me back to reality rather than keeping me in the author’s world. Confusing and would have made the back story much better if it was explained.

Finding Mr. Right can be challenging. Many authors have created some really outrageous scenarios to introduce soulmates to each other, but a séance at age 13? That’s new – no wonder Zoe forgot all about it. Still there are compensations, despite being involuntarily transplanted to Hell by an infuriating and infuriated demon. I am surprised by how much she and her demon have in common. I wonder what their children will be like. (Hint, hint, Ms. Mutas!) I loved this book!! Ok it starts with the h celebrating her 25th birthday. Unfortunately she forgot that her preteen self summoned a demon and got a marriage contract if she was still single at 25 years old!! It’s hilarious, and an amazing romance from two very different characters!! Five stars!!

Fantastic! So worth the wait! Oh, this was SO worth waiting for! The story was interesting, intense, sexy, and occasionally funny, with a hilariously flawed heroine and a strong, stubborn, sexy Hero. I’m gonna just throw a couple things out there... 1- I did NOT like Zoe at first. She trapped Az, and then was childish and selfish when he was forced to uphold the contract. I did eventually grow to like her, about 30% into the story, as I got to know her better. 2- I also disliked howAz treated Zo Fantastic! So worth the wait! Oh, this was SO worth waiting for! Loved this book I have read every book written by Nadine and can honestly say I have loved them all. This one is no exception. From page 1 I knew it was another winner. Nadine is a very talented writer whose characters are so likeable that you don't want the book to end. Can't wait to read the next in the series. I highly recommend this book but if you have never read Nadine before, this is a must, as well as her Love and Magic series. You will not be disappointed.
