Really fun alien romance I highly recommend this alien romance if you love funny and cute. In this case the humans are the aliens that have landed on a planet full of elemental dragon shifters. The FMC is rescued by the prince of the fire dragons and it turns out she's his true mate. The hilarity ensues when cultural differences come to play. Luckily it all gets worked out but I enjoyed this read theough the end and look forward to the next book. Really fun alien romance I highly recommend this alien romance if you love funny and cute. In this new galaxy they're exploring, alien pirates tried to take them over. Those that lived through the invasion, then faced crashing pods into this alien desert. And now, after all that, while looking for soil that would sustain the seeds needed for food before their stores dwindle, a giant predator attacked her. And then a dragon attacked it. Just what kind of crazy world did they crash into? Spoilers ahead. Ok, so I pretty much love everything Jade writes. And this is no exception. The miscommunication, misinterpreted culture norms, the shooting down of their respective ideals, are all loaded with humor. She doesn't realize he's the dragon, because he has 2 forms- 1 of them humanoid...ish. She can't understand him unless they're touching. He is understandably upset that she calls his other form hideous, and is terrified that his mate is not able to protect herself. A female of his species has claws, scales and wings. These humans are easily sunburned, have tiny fingernails and soft skin. His poor ego takes several hits, and so does hers. And that's before she finds out about his previous entanglement. But when he discovered her, another Drakarian did, too. And now the race is on. He saw the fate marks, realized there could be more, and isn't daunted by trespassing into another clan's territory to see if one of those humans flares his marks. This series started with a bang, literally, and looks to keep it going. Jade always does an amazing job world building. We get new culture, we get background on the other Drakarian clans, we get a history of the current conditions, we got the background on why the humans were traveling, and more personal histories on all the main characters. No info dumps, it's all woven in gently where and how it's needed.

Cute—reminded me a lot (maybe too much?) of Ruby Dixon’s Ice Planet Barbadians, but it lacked the special sauce of her writing style...there was too much perspective from the guy, which felt very stilted and one-dimensional (his voice, i mean). I think, with a premise like crash landing on an alien planet filled with dragon shifters, a little humor would have gone a long way, too... That being said, it’s a short, happy read that requires little by way of thought. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I read the reviews here and I thought this might be a good shape-shifter, paranormal romance with a sci-fi twist. It starts ok. A little bit lacking in emotion given the death and turmoil, to be honest, but maybe it could be that the characters are in shock. Then the timelines get a little funky. The Prince sees what is the escape pods crash and decides to go check it out the next morning. The Prince sees what is the escape pods crash and decides to go check it out the next morning. But when he talks to the heroine, she says they’ve been on the planet for a week...except it’s suppose to be the next day, no? Kept reading to give it a chance, some parts were a bit funny but then she falls in love with him in a span of what appears to be two days and one night. Except for most of the first day, she’s unconscious or scared. Okay, maybe she’s feeling the effect of the fated mate bond or something. Fine. Then she meets the parents...this is where I gave up. It suddenly became very 2D from the reaction of the parents to the incident with the translator. I couldn’t read on. There are other reviews here indicating that a lot of people really enjoyed this book. Just because I didn’t, doesn’t mean it’s not a good book for someone else.

⭐️⭐️⭐️2.5 rounded to 3. Not bad for the first book in the series. Def set me up to want to read more. In fact, I’m excited to read the second one tonight. The differences between the species was hilarious... Verus was wonderful. The only thing I hated (and no, I didnt take any stars off for this), is that Ive watched Game of Thrones so much that I was saying his name as “Varys” in my head. ⭐️⭐️⭐️2.5 rounded to 3. This was a fun and easy read that I throughly enjoyed. It was a nice break from the typical alien romance. Exactly what I needed.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 First book hangover I’ve had in a while! I’m a sucker for sci-fi romance & also for dragons, but I hesitated a bit before reading this because I mostly prefer RH. Honestly, I’m so glad I hesitated because now I only have to wait 11 days for book 2! Also I’ve been starting series like crazy but only reading the first book, and I know for sure I’m going to read this whole series. I really liked that the relationship between Varus and Lilliana wasn’t instalove but it also didn’t take forever 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 First book hangover I’ve had in a while! (& when they did swoon!💖) I also loved the way the Drakarians spoke. I totally get into lil alien communication && looks differences— so much more realistic than all aliens being super humanoid. Basically I loved this whole book and I’ll be waiting very impatiently for that Wind Clan prince 🧡🤍

Lilliana and Varus Lilliana is a human on a colony ship when it’s attacked by pirates. Her escape pod crash lands on a planet, where she is rescued by a dragon-shifting male. Varus is Prince to the Fire Dragons, and spots his fated mate in the form of an alien he has never seen before. The two have to overcome language barriers, and cultural differences, after all, they’re fated. Dog like devotion. I enjoyed this story. The characters were great except the fire dragon prince, Varus. His devotion to his fated mate was a little too dog like. Anything for his mate. Otherwise this was an interesting storyline with not enough world building. Things like species successful inter-breeding and female (almost worship) seems a little far fetched. I do like that the females can kick a$$ and would be interested in following up on a relationship between a female Drakarian and another Dog like devotion. I enjoyed this story. I recommend this to those who like light alien romance with sex.

I enjoyed this book, it ran a little slow and was a bit underwhelming for a book by these two authors. I really like their RH series a lot more and not because it’s an RH. It just seems to have more. This was good however. It has a nice dynamic. The overall world building and story telling was pretty interesting. I’ll definitely read the next one.

Basic Dragon Romance This is a basic dragon romance, decently written, with a HEA. If that's what your in the mood for it will fit the bill. Basic Dragon Romance This is a basic dragon romance, decently written, with a HEA. If that's what your in the mood for it will fit the bill.

Loving this new series! Lilly is a [email protected] FMC who is hesitant to open her heart to Varus. Once she does though it is pure love! This was a quick read and I am excited to see what happens next!

🐉🔥 Alien Dragons are here 🐉🔥 LOVED IT!! i think this is my new favorite alien dragons shifters stories! It’s already set in a universe where a small group of humans are the last ones standing and it sets the pace and rhythm where the series is going to go. This fire dragon was so blunt and honest it made you swoon and laugh at the same time! Looking forward to the next books!
