This is another fantastic instalment in this series. I particularly liked the male lead’s vulnerabilities. He showed just how much our social enculturation structures our beliefs and understandings. He was sweet and strong and so determined not to do the “wrong” thing towards the female lead. The ongoing inclusion and interaction with couples/characters from previous books is another bonus, watching characters continue to grow together. This book was very emotionally engaging and I felt the emotions along with the characters. This book was dual POV, well-written and edited, and a great piece of escapism from this year and its problems. I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for this voluntary review.

My introduction to Alana Khan and what an introduction it has been! Emotional, cute, enticing, mesmerizing, attention-grabbing. This is a book I couldn't put down. The highlight of his comm duties are late night conversations he has been having with who he thinks is a female humanoid, but in reality is a human named Star. Fate intervenes when Star's ship malfunctions and she nearly dies. Ar'Toks' captain, Zar is okay with going to the rescue and when Star and Ar'Tok finally meet they realise there are a lot of things that need to be cleared up. I would totally recommend this book and Alana's other books to readers who enjoy paranormal romance. I'm going looking for more, and my Favorite Author's list has grown by another name.

This may be the best book I've read all year. I loved the characters, Star and Ar'Tok so much, I had to immediately read it again. I've seen movies I loved so much, I had to watch it again. Don't judge a book by its cover I absolutely love Artok 's story. It just goes to show that scars can be beautiful and signs of strength. I love that Star could see past his awful scars to the man beneath. The abuse he suffered is disgusting and has caused him to believe he is damaged goods but Star is there to disabuse him of that notion. Their love story is heart warming and the scene with the curious little boy gave me all the feels. Don't judge a book by its cover I absolutely love Artok 's story. I loved this book! Ar’Tok’s backstory broke my heart and Star was an awesome addition to this group. The old Earth slang had me laughing throughout the story. It was nice how their relationship didn’t feel rushed in any way and I really enjoyed the “normal” date moments. It was great to see how this group is making a community together. Ar’Tok, the newest book in the Galaxy Gladiators series is one of the sweetest books so far. I loved getting to know the back story of the characters and watching them on their exciting adventures where they get to experience viewing the world together for the first time. As they were falling in love with each other, at the same time, I fell in love with them too! A must read for those who love romance, adventure and a happily ever after.

Ar’Tok is one Choice of a man/alien. The treatment he received made me want to Gag Me With a Spoon. My heart broke for him. I was happy he could finally Bounce that place. North Star is one Tubular gal who accepted Ar’Tok as he was. This was on Gnarly book from Alana yet again. WORD! (You have to read the book to understand why I’m using all the 80’s slang.)

I really enjoyed this book. Both the hero and heroine have some similarity in their backgrounds with being isolated. It was funny and sweet to see them experience new things together. There wasn't much drama, which was nice for a change of pace, and was more about the hero and heroine getting to spend time with each other. Overall, solid read. I really enjoyed this book. I tried, but I just can't abide a TSTL. I tried. Really I did. I'm in a book slump and feeling picky but I despite the cover I decided to give it a try. And even though the heroine sounded like a high school girl w/her first crush (which she basically was never having had the chance to interact w/a guy who wasn't her father before) I was intrigued and wanted to know more. I liked Ar'Tok even though he was such a whipped dog at times, just reading his name almost made me cringe. Now it's on me to star I tried, but I just can't abide a TSTL. I tried. Really I did. Now it's on me to started so late in the series but having character this down on themselves wasn't fun. One of the things I liked about Star in her short time we had together was how hard she worked to reassure Ar'Tok,how she tried to let him know she WASN'T repulsed by him. After their initial meeting that she DID find him attractive but he just wasn't having it.It's one thing to be down on yourself but to be soo down on yourself would rather believe others are lying to you? That just always rubs me the wrong way. But I was touched by Star's sensitivity and her willingness to try. What turned me off though was this: Star gets brought onto Ar'Tok's ship to rescue from her losing the oxygen on her satellite. Star grew up on it and the ONLY ppl she's ever been around were her parents and she's been alone for the last 4 years. So it makes perfect sense she's uncomfortable being around other ppl. I mean just the 4 years alone would make it odd but NEVER having been around anyone but her parents ? I'd think that would be soo weird it would take her weeks to come to terms to being around a whole ship full of new and different ppl. Right ? Yeah, aaaaaaaa No. Not for Star, she's some how able to get over years of being alone and a life time of NEVER knowing anyone but her parents in just two days. Seriously! Two days? What got me even more was she's offered a "job" as a hacker to go down to a planet that puts herself at a grave risk (the reason her and her mom were hidden off on the satellite she grew up on was because of how deeply dangerous it is to be a human in outer space. especially a female human) but HEY! its for over a million credits. That's worth risking my life and and all the safety I've ever know for .right ? Huh ? If that wasn't bad enough.when asked if she wanted to stay and be apart of their crew, she's like,"Well it's onlybeen two days, how can I know ? Wait, what ? Ok, soo two days is long enough to get over a life time of basically being alone and meeting ship full of new ppl after they save you life. Two days is enough time to decide your willing to risk your life and future safety to go down to a planet when you've NEVER even been to one before. But two day's ISN'T enough time to decide whether to stay w/the ppl who just saved your life? Plus your already 1/2 in love w/Ar'Tok. That is dumb, silly and deeply inconsistent. For me only a true TSTL would make choices like that. Star completely lost me when she says it's too soon to make a choice to stay on the ship but w/barely any details at all she's willing to risk her life to go down to a planet for something soo risky. I personally can't recommend but I do wish the writer all the best. I know following your dreams isn't easy and I wish her only success

So sweet and so romantic😍, but plenty of sexy times too🔥. A wonderful story of 2 deserving soles who meet verbally over space comms, with Ar’tok racing to rescue Star after mechanical failure on her satellite leaves her with only hours of oxygen left. The fun with human slang had me laughing as I have to admit that I have used the majority of sayings at one time or another growing up. The spa/mani-pedi trip was cute and fun too. As I have read every book in the series, always enjoy when the couples interact. The worst thing about the book? Nothing, except being at the end and reading about the next book, which I have a love/hate for teasers. I love the intro to the next book’s characters but I hate the wait! Looking forward to the next couple and their story.

Nice addition to the series I liked Ar’Tok and Star’s story. It was filled with a heartwarming tale of acceptance for Ar’Tok. He has to learn to love himself so that he can fully love his Star. Now Star on the other hand has had the love of her parents from the beginning. Her father gave up mostly everything to be with her mom and then having a daughter. The story is very touching. Read On!
