Disappointing I'm not sure what happened with this book, but it's like someone was writing a children's story. Nothing like the previous books. And there is a glaring error on page 132 that doesn't work later on in the book. I hope that the author fixes it so Lazlo doesn't burn to a crisp.

Good plot, bad writing Ugh! I'm sticking with the series because the plot really is good. The writing, however, is awful. As a former teacher, I felt I needed my red pen with me throughout, though it was exhausting to note all the many errors, inconsistencies, and just plain annoying hyperbole. I suppose my best advice is to look elsewhere until this series has been edited, proofread, and brought up to adult standards. She did it again! I am not a good book reviewer. I don’t like to summarize the book. I just like to say whether it is good or bad. This book is fabulous. Ms. Chase did it again. The ending. Wow! That is all I can say. PWF is a growing genre and I absolutely love older Heroines. It is about time. Start with book 1 and binge read to this book and the wait like the rest of us for book 6.

Kings, Lost Princesses and a Grandfather! This continuation of the story is fast paced and exciting! Intrigue and danger mixed with humor as we meet new characters. Shannon and Hunter's romance continues to have bumps in the road. Adora gets to spend A bit of time with her true love and having a Grandfather is A new experience for Shannon. A new beginning at the end and kept me wanting more! Looking forward to the next installment.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Plot keeps me coming back. Editing in this book is poorly done. It required me to go back several times to reread a sentence or paragraph to decipher what the author meant. I will continue the series and hope the her heroine does not get any meaner to her supposed hero and the plot continues to entertain but suggest slowing down to polish the final draft before publishing. Those of us who are fans of the series will wait.

Loved all 5!! I enjoyed these books so much I read them in a weekend. I can’t wait for more. I’m retired, so these women over 40 books are perfect for me. There are fairies, witches, fae and more. Great job and thanks for brightening up my days while I am stuck at home due to the virus

One of my fav midlife paranormal I have read all of the numerous midlife women paranormal series and along with Shannon Mayer ,Robyn Peterman, Dyranda Jones this is a favorite of mine. Fast paced with an intricate plot line and we'll developed characters that are very likeable. If you want to escape for awhile this is a great series to do it with.

Captivating I like that this series moves at a rather fast pace. I like the addition of the new characters. This was a magical book with tons of creativity. Chase is a master at writing detailed magical worlds that truly bring alive the characters and setting.

Midlife......who knew? I enjoyed this imperfect heroine. I liked how she was pushy, but definitely does not know everything. Family dynamics can be fun too!

Thrilling I love Shannon. I love how she doesn't care what has to be done, she finds a way to get it done and kick butt. I hate when the book ends but can't wait for the next one.

What happened? I chose this rating because it wasn't even done. I expected that the story would have come to an end.
