I love this author's work, his stories are very unique. They're not too horrific but his topics are always something I haven't read before, which I like. His words are easy to read and he tells his stories with a good pace. There were nice little drabbles in there too. My favourite is probably the first story, these two characters had me giggling (I love some comedy in my horror). 'Combustion' could easily be a series... would love to see what the author could do with this. The majority of these I love this author's work, his stories are very unique. I really enjoyed this collection. It's beautifully written and a great collection of 'soft' horror. I know Justin quite well from social media and consider him a friend. I had to laugh because I will let you in on a secret: one story is 'loosely' based on him and what he would have liked to have done but obviously couldn't. Try to guess which one! Also, he really does have this insane fear of bugs and critters. It's kind of pathetic really. The big woos. Anyway, this is a great read and a nice d I really enjoyed this collection. Anyway, this is a great read and a nice diversion if you want a break from the blood, guts, and depravity of the extreme horror world. I say grab yourself a cup of tea and curl up and read Boote. 5 stars.

Creepy Collection of the macabre All the stories in the book were entertaining and some downright scary. I enjoyed reading this short story collection. Well crafted.

Great, unique collection of stories. Very well written. I enjoyed all of them, but especially the first story. That really stuck with me. Loved this book

Great collection of stories in here. Truly something for everyone! I loved how the author covered so many topics and phobias. Everything from the mundane (who hasn’t been annoyed getting stuck behind a garbage truck?!), to the so strange it has to be true (spontaneous human combustion anyone?!). A couple of these stories I’d love to see turned into longer form novellas. Can’t wait to see what is waiting in the Love Wanes second collection!

Lots of fun takes of horror I will never be a nice guy again...nice guys end up in the asylum. Great collection of short horror fiction.

Good Solid Horror Short Stories I love this world that Justin Boote has created. Each story has a tie in to this town or insane asylum. There are some very clever creepy stories in this book. I have read the first two books in this collection, I plan on purchasing the third one and enjoy it as much, I am sure. There are no cliff hangers in the series.
