This poetry collection is raw, beautiful, and compelling. A must-read for those who love deep feelings and are in a rough spot in their lives. Be prepared to cry, say "that's relatable", and be uplifted. I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

It seems kinda weird to review your own book but here we are!! I wrote this! This book is mine😁 I’m slightly biased but I think it’s pretty good😁😁

I've read this book at several stages and while it was amazing the first time around, it has somehow gotten better with every step. As a more traditional poetry lover, I'm generally not a fan of the Instagram style poetry, but this collection. Shit. It's just so emotional and raw and relatable. I can't say that I cried while reading it, (I don't think I've ever cried over a book) but while reading this I came close. I can't say that I cried while reading it, (I don't think I've ever cried over a book) but while reading this I came close. Lia Marie leads you through some of her darkest times, covering her depression and after-effects of falling for a guy who didn't deserve her (and who I kind of want to fight TBH) and yet...she still manages to wrap up both sections with an optimistic and hopeful outlook. She forgives the boy. She doesn't forget what he's done, but simply moves on with her life. And she doesn't pretend that all her problems have magically gone away, but instead shows us that she is healing. (Also, if you read the paperback edition, which won't be out until August, you'll get to see a really cool ombre effect in the pages...)

*My review can be found under the paperback version of this book, though I have read both!* I think that the kindle version is cool because it's illustrated with the author's pictures
