Ms. Sax brings Agatha Bright back! Agatha and Remington have a murder by taco to solve. Laughter, romance and a murder makes a great afternoon read.

Fun! Agatha is back and helping Remington/John solve a murder. And in true Elise Sax form, it’s death by taco! Another fun, quirky installment in the Agatha Bright series that kept me laughing the whole way through!

3.5* Again, I didn’t find myself laughing as much as I usually do with Ms. Sax. That said, the mystery was a bit tighter this time and the long story about the Agatha and her aunts hiding from the coven looks like it will be interesting. I like the Remington/John storyline, but am hoping that Remington asserts himself at some point. That battle could be funny.

I liked this book, but not as much as I liked the first in this series. Not quite as many laughs, but learning more about the witchiness of Agatha and her two aunts, and wondering if John is ever going to leave Remington's body. I kind of miss Remington..

Agatha lives in a huge home with her aunts. They all take care of the Lighthouse and, they're all a LOT older than anyone knows. Agatha used to have a ghost in the house named John who she had a special relationship with. She also has the hots for Remington, one of the Detectives in their small harbor town.. Now John and Remington==Well, I digress. There is a dispensary next door to Agatha's soup shop/book store that now, also sells Marijuana!!! The town rock star(retired) has decided to have a taco eating contest to bring in more tourists. It works great until someone is murdered. Then, there are the attack seagulls and snakes and, the even stranger things happening to Aggie and her aunts and, well===You just have to read this story to find out how everything works together seemlessly, in yet another HILARIOUS Romp by Ms. Sax. I NEVER tire of these stories!!!

For such a small town Seabreeze gets a lot of action. John/Remington is still a dead guy in a living body, struggling to be a cop and romance Agatha. It's funny but I feel bad he's stuck here and then I'm happy he's with Agatha. Poor guy, I hope it works out because I miss Remington and his scary sexiness. Then there's the murder and the suspects, everything gets solved in the end thanks to Agatha. Between crazy animals, wacky tourists and a murderer on the loose Seabreeze is in another category For such a small town Seabreeze gets a lot of action. Besides a great murder mystery you get comedy, goofy secondary characters and a continuing storyline for our soup girl. I received an early copy, review written voluntarily without bias.

I decided to give the Agatha Bright Series another try. I read Some Like It Shot. I still didn’t love the series as much as the Matchmaker Mysteries or Goodnight Mysteries but this book definitely had a good twist. I also like the underlying issues with Remington/John. I definitely will read book 3 but will read a few things prior to that. #somelikeitshot #agathabrightmysteries #booksofinstagram #booksofig #reading #readingchallenge #readingchallenge2020 #kindle

Good Mystery Interesting small town and characters. The last half of the book moved at a fast pace as Aggie pieces together the clues from several plot lines. Love it when we get a big murder mystery with a couple smaller intrigues. Makes for an interesting read.
