Lovely story for kids Shog was a dog in the forests and all he wanted was another dog as his friend. Unfortunately there were no other dogs in the forest and Shog does not even look at all the other animals in the forest. He in grumpy and angry and does not make friends. That is when Shog breaks his leg. What happens after that and whether he makes friends after that is the story. Best Friends Forever ๐Ÿ• ๐Ÿ– ๐Ÿธ This book has a great moral. It shows in a fun way that the little ones can relate to and short enough they will not lose interest. What could he do different to find a friend? Does he already have some and just not realize it? You get to listen/read to find out what is going to happen next. Yeah!!

Good read for Toddlers The book is about Shog the dog, who was feeling lonely and wandering to get friends who are dogs. He disapproved all other animals to be his friends. One fine day he was hurt and the frog helped him and the piggy took care with grocery and food items. Then Shog realized his mistakes and accepted his folly.

Shog (dog) lives in the woods by a pond. He didnโ€™t like the camels, fishes, birds, or the cows in the field. & the cat well does anything more need to be said. Shog decided to go shopping. So did the squirrels. Shog wants to make friends, but there are no dogs around. Piggle (pig) checked him out. Lilly (frog) watched as Shog tripped/fell in the pond. He lost all his groceries. What did Lily Frog & Piggle do for Shog? I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. Whil Shog (dog) lives in the woods by a pond. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one. A very awesome book cover, great colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very well written childrenโ€™s educational adventure story book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great childrenโ€™s educational adventure movie, an animated cartoon, classroom PP presentation, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars. Thank you for the free author; Red Beetle Books; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; book Tony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

Isolation is not just caused by others but also by yourself. People want to help and if you refuse to let them you can hurt yourself more. A good read.

Shog the dog, is in a fog, because he is lonely and canโ€™t understand why no one will visit him, despite the fact that he has a sign on his door that says only dogs are welcome. Unfortunately for Shog, no other dogs live in his neighborhood. His xenophobia causes him to rush through his day so he can minimize his interactions with other animals. As he rushes home, though, he breaks his leg. Another animal comes to his rescue, although Shog is reluctant to take his help at first. His pig and frog neighbors bring him food while he is recovering and they quickly become his friends. As you can probably guess, Shog changes the sign on his front door after that, and he is no longer a lonely dog.

Shog's Best Friends is a very poetic style of writing that kids can easily follow along to and maybe even finish the sentences before the reader would. It also has a great plot that can be interpreted in many ways including making new friends no matter how they look. It's a great life lesson that young children would love! It also shows how friends are always there for you no matter how your days are going or how you've been treating them. Shog is an introverted dog who has no friends. This situation is his own fault. Shog hangs a sign on his door that says only dogs are welcome. Frog and Piggy ignore his boorish behavior and try to be friendly, but Shog rebuffs them. When Shog has an unfortunate accident, he learns that it is no fun to be isolated. Having empathy for others is the way to gain true friendship and acceptance. This book contains cute illustrations and sweet rhymes. Cute book. Nice story for children. Teaches inclusion and not to be so quick to decide who your friends are. Friends come in many different shapes and sizes and just because you are different donโ€™t mean you canโ€™t be friends.

Sweet story about making friends Show the Dog only wants dog friends in his life. He doesnโ€™t believe any of the other creatures are worth knowing. But throughout all his cruelty and rudeness, he still makes friends with two new creatures and undergoes a change of heart.
