Based on the TV show from the 80s, which I haven't watched. I really enjoy ghost stories, and found three of four stories in this book to be very good, especially the last two which also has excellent art! All four stories tell a tale of folklore from different parts of the world, and I particularly enjoyed the first in which we meet a lesser known creature from Scandinavian folklore. A great collection of artwork and stories. Some are very touching and rather unique, even though the sources are classic. The first story left something to be desired in the interpretation or artwork or both, I’m not sure how to describe it other than to say the baby ghosts were odd looking. The stories do seem to get better and better, and I experienced feelings across a wide spectrum by the end - something not very common when I read comics and graphic novels.
