    Underwhelming. The content list had me hopeful, however the execution and actual content were incredibly underwhelming. Some recipes have more text in the prep section than in the directions section, some recipes have numbered steps and some don't. Some recipes have text that is properly paragraphed and pleasing to the eye whereas most of them are all over the place. Whoever were paid to proofread this book and whoever allowed this to be released in its current format must have been blind. Many Underwhelming. Whoever were paid to proofread this book and whoever allowed this to be released in its current format must have been blind. Many recipes simply looked as if from a list of recipes a generic cook book should contain: well known dishes 'but with a twist'. Every now and again the twist was definitely novel, and not altogether bad, although a lot of them just didn't impress enough to even illicit the thought: 'I would probably try that, if I could be bothered and felt like trying something else.' The imagery provided with each recipe were okay, however not great and didn't come across as professionally done. These, paired up with the poor formatting mentioned earlier, make the whole book give off a vibe of 'Aunt Emma's Recipe Blog' or her hastily scribbled recipe adaptations written in the margins of her favourite cook books. A hesitant toe dipped in the water, something to tell the book club about once it's visible on Amazon. This book doesn't give off even a whiff of 'promising food writer', let alone 'meal prep for weight loss expert'. The most promising in the entire book is the content list. I'm simply not convinced that this book is worth its conception. Even free of charge for Kindle Unlimited subscribers.
