When they wake up Ishmael goes and finds a ship to go whale hunting with (Queequeg comes with and prior to Ishmael finding a ship he states they are friends); he comes to someone named Captain Peleg, who’s a quaker and an owner of a boat, and Captain Peleg recommends going with Captain Ahab. They (Queequeg, Ishmael, Captain Ahab, and his crew) set off on hunting whales specifically Moby Dick as vengeance; Captain Ahab nails a gold coin to whoever spots Moby Dick first they can have the coin. They catch a whale and continue their journey when they meet somebody whose crew was decimated by Moby Dick and they ask to use Captain Ahab’s ship to return to which he declines; the end up finding Moby Dick and he destroys the captain’s crew/ships leaving only one survivor: Ishmael. Reflection (four complete sentences): I like graphic novels and comics (it was different reading them the way it’s supposed to be in English because I’m used to reading manga). I liked the action and how the story went. I don’t really find things like fishing (there are some that are okay and i know it's different from fishing) but this was better. I liked the graphic novel but probably won’t read the actual story.

I also like that instead of reading the actual book we opted for the graphic novel. It made this classic book enoyable and easy to understand.

Captain Ahab loses his leg to a big white whale named Moby Dick but other fishermen only know of Moby Dick as a myth. Ishmael stays in a hotel and meets Queequeg, a very good harpooner. The next day they join Ahab's ship and set sail to find and kill whales. Captain Ahab has didnt plans for the crew that may end up killing them all. I liked this book because of the suspense. The symbolism was a little confusing for me but I liked how detailed and easy to read it was. Moby Dick is a story about a whale that took someone's leg and left them with scars. The captain Ahab wanted revenge on Moby Dick and took it at whatever's cost. He went after him for years trying to kill the whale. In the end the whale ended up getting the best of Ahab and his crew. Only one person survived, to tell the tale of Moby Dick. This book is a great one. It has a great story and plot, and most of all it was based off of a true-ish story, about a whale that went after a whaling ship. I really enjoyed the setting of this book as to these people at the time this was a very dangerous task to do. I also enjoyed how the story was told with different perspectives on the manner and how each character affected the other. I loved how the story also has a lot of symbolism and morality especially hinting towards that the obsession vengeance is a path that only leads to death and despair. The characters had symbols and Moby as well. I would say the moral of the store it that Wrath shouldn't dictate your life and if it dose you will have consequences. I read the graphic novel then we watched the move and too add on to that, my favorite part of the move we the part were the native wanted hid caufen made.

I liked the graphic novel because it simplifies the actual classic Moby Dick. I liked the symbolism of the harpoon as well. It shows how death and destruction can come to people that are unaware of the dangers they are surrounded by. The different perspectives that are given in the book also give great insights.

I did not really like it. It was not a bad book; it is just that it is not what I look for in a book. It is too dark and gloomy. It was written well, and the story was relatively easy to follow, I just did not like it.

The book incorporates many aspects of symbolism and other literary devices. I think the book shows how when someone is obsessed with something they will go to their deathbed to get it.

I really dont like this book. It is so boring. Even it being in a graphic model form. I also find the end very unfulfilling. This book is super good and exciting. The ending was kind of sad when he didn't get to kill the Moby Dick, but instead he died. Ahab never gave up and he dedicated everything to get revenge on the whale. This book never got boring and it was a very entertaining book.

Fortunately, he is saved by another ship who is also whaling. Which means he is able to tell about the tale of Moby Dick. Reflection (four complete sentences): The book is better than I thought it would be. It's a good story and had a good theme in the book. For example, it shows sometimes your desire for revenge is bad. Also, I liked the history they had in the book. It was nice to see how they did whaling back then. The only thing I didn't like was the ending when everyone, except Ishmael, didn't survive. Overall, the book was good.

The graphic novel of Moby Dick rapidly tells the tale of Herman Melvilles novel. It is a story of vengeance and at times one of struggle. The novel describes Ishmael journey with the Pequod with pictures that help to imagine the story. This graphic novel is good for those who do not want to read the novel and want a small idea of the story of Moby Dick. I thought Moby Dick was a very symbolic book that brought out a bunch of hidden meanings. The littlest things from the white whale to the Captain being pulled in showed symbolism. It was definitely a attention grabbing book for me and definitely suited my style.

This graphic novel really did a good job of shortening the novel Moby Dick into its main points. I could clearly understand which character was which and could easily follow what was going on. I would highly recommend this graphic novel if for whatever reason you are not reading the whole of Moby Dick.

This story was a good story, you could see what was going on and I enjoyed seeing it. The action parts were a lot better seeing it and not having to play it in your head. It made me think about people who actually go out hunting whales or other sea creatures and how it must be so dangerous. When I read it I was sucked in and felt like I was in the story.
