   Piero Boitani's 'A New Sublime' is a refreshing read on the classics and why they still matter. His language is accessible and clear, even when explaining Greek and Roman concepts. However, the implications taken from these ten lessons are archeologically complex but put together for the reader to understand how our current society thinks, feels and act.    This book could have been so much more. It’s just a little long winded and in places quite dull. The Classics themselves however are as relevant today as when they were written.
