I really try not to judge a book based off on the one problem I have with it, but this thing just d e s t r o y e d the whole book for me. What was my problem you ask? Well... When OW kisses one of the heros and he kisses her back, but Laura doesn't do anything about it when he tells her besides getting weirdly possessive about him. When two random girls in an elevator hits on him and move to physically touch him; he does nothing and says nothing, because "he wanted Laura to claim him". Well,(pause) I will say this book was a little better than the first; however, I figure out what's pissing me off about these books... It's the author!!! her writing style and lack of detail about certain things irk the hell out of me! Just damn irritating to say the least. I want to finish this series but I don't think I can read anything else that she has written or will write in the future beside the rest of this series. (SMH... Just NO!) I'm holding out... but this series is kind of taking a while to get anywhere. I like it, the story is entertaining enough and a pretty fast read all in all but I just don't feel like the plot is moving forward fast enough. I'm not sure if the author is just making this so slow burn and eventually she will get to them? It just seems like there should be some sort of engagements with those characters because it seems pretty unfair that Ares and Dante are getting all the "air" time so to speak. We do get some more reveals leading us along regarding Laura's mom and the past as well as learning a tiny bit more about infinities in general but its moving a little on the slow side which is a real shame because I think if we could just get some more action and maybe some more abilities practice with Laura the series could really take off. If the whole series is just going to be about finding her mom though and not about her and her infinity not sure this is going to hold me for the long haul. I'll keep holding out for a little bit longer.. but dang.

The writing is incredible, the flow and pace of the book is quick but fluid. We don’t know what, exactly, Laura can do but I know for sure that the build up is going to be well worth it. More mysteries There's even more mysteries than in the last book. Nothing about Laur's Infinity is normal and neither is Laura's abilities. This is such an interesting story and I am enjoying it immensely. My favorite parts are how she bonds the brothers. My least favorite part is how the brothers are around other women. Hopefully that is settled though. If it continues then there is something wrong with the premise of this series. That would be highly disappointing. There isn't as many errors in this book than the first. But there is one big plot one that irks me so much I have to share it. I guess it is sort of a spoiler but it's not a major plot point. He only has a pair of jeans aside from those pants, and his coach will chew him out if he shows up to the banquet in those. Ares hands over his pants, and he must not have brought any others (even though Laura mentions the guys opted for jeans earlier on before they drove for he banquet) because he is left in is boxers and the buttoned shirt he is wearing. Not long after Milo and Oliver leave Ares makes a phone call, once again it is brought up that he's pacing back and forth in his boxers. When is done with the phone call however he puts his phone back in his back pocket. ...WTF?!?! He is in his boxers!!!! There is no reason for a pair of boxers to have a back pocket!!!!

I wanted to love it..... but.... there were far many errors and not enough progress in the relationship. The overly detailed descriptions of their kissing actually had the opposite effect for me and I had to restrain myself from skipping over these scenes to get to the actual story! Normally I love a good steamy scene. The first book had lots of potential, despite errors etc but I don’t think I will carry on reading.

In a book were one would want the heroine Laura to shine,Mia her nemesis casts a gloomy shadow and the single POV leaves some of the actions carried out by the men of her harem appear to be dubious in nature and leaves the reader uncertain in an absence of light regardless of their steadfast cries of adoration.

Review is for the four books. So. I liked them enough to read all four books. But they're less books, per se, than, well, you know how authors sometime release bonus scenes as extras for newsletter subscribers or whatnot? Yeah, I felt like all four books were kinda like that. Generally, as I remember from Junior High English class, for a story you need a conflict, rising action, a climax, and falling action or resolution or something (it's been a while since Jr. High English...). These books supposedly have a plot - girl is the missing link for this super powered group of four guys, increases their powers, and fated soul mates, obviously. The conflict is that her mother goes missing (shows up in book four) and because of this and possible nebulous threat, they're keeping their relationship on the DL from the rest of their kind (for a while anyway). The reality is that none of this is really gripping though, you get no sense of urgency or threat for the characters. Main focus of the books is on the development of their relationship(s). The threat at the end is actually resolved pretty quickly and easily with little fuss. All in all, I read all four because I thought the development of the relationships was cute, but that's all these are, an accounting of the relationships. No other pressing plot to be found, so if you're looking for it, you won't find it here, which is completely unrealistic, and really pushes the suspension of disbelief to the next level; it's like the author decided she just wanted to write a romance and the any other plot point is completely secondary. Again, they're cute if you just want the tale of how the characters get close to each other and fall in love, some cute feel good stuff. But if you want more, this isn't it. I will say, while all these reverse harems are pretty similar, this particularly reminded me of a less fleshed out and less dark version of Jane Washington's Seraph Black series. I definitely would NOT say piracy or anything untoward like that, it's definitely not that similar, but it just reminds me a bit of that series. Borrowed from Kindle Unlimited.

Sleeping arrangements, people using the same bathroom, car seating arrangements, insane levels of jealousy, relationship status talks, a few 'revelations', meeting the in-laws, and bitey kisses There, another summary for you. I need to rant. I'm frustrated, I really am. I was expecting some improvement, especially with Laura's lackluster character, but it was just not there. I'm sadly pretty much done with this series. Book #2 was only slightly better from the first one because this one didn't have Sleeping arrangements, people using the same bathroom, car seating arrangements, insane levels of jealousy, relationship status talks, a few 'revelations', meeting the in-laws, and bitey kisses There, another summary for you. Book #2 was only slightly better from the first one because this one didn't have too many "we'll talk about it later"s. But the reason this one sucked, and I'm sorry but it did, was because of Laura, the FMC. She is just an asshole. She seems like a victim of everything, but she is really a selfish brat that needs a reality check. She treats Dante like dirt, believing the worst of him, and mistrusting him for no good reason (view spoiler)[and no, the whole Dante accidentally kissing Delaney thing was NOT a good reason - he explained it well and felt bad about it, and yet she kept making him feel like shit about it over and over again (hide spoiler)] . She treats Milo even worse - seeing as she barely even acknowledges him in her life or within the Infinity bond thing. She treats Ollie like he's just a fun clown character to have around for those uncomfortable silences. And well, her relationship with Ares is basically what this book is about, so why bother with the rest? I got a tad sick of reading about her and Ares getting it on all the time. Not to mention, Laura ruins the entire reverse harem aspect for me by questioning her relationships constantly, and wondering whether kissing her guys or being seen with more than one man will make her a whore. This whore thing was a touchy subject for her in the first book, as well. She is basically slut-shaming herself. These insecurities should have been dealt with in the first book already. Also, not much happens in this book. Apart from unnecessary "other woman" issues, a few revelations about Laura's mom, Laura meeting the boys' parents and being awkward about it, and some love bites, it was just more of the same.

I just finished this series and waited to give my final review. I’m giving the whole series 3.5 stars and rounding it up. I will start out by saying that this is a character driven series. It really focuses on Laura and her four guys establishing their relationships. There is a minor plot of a “bad guy” that’s extremely brief and doesn’t take much of book 4 to fix. If you’re looking for something really action based, this is not the series for you. This book I liked slightly less than the first I just finished this series and waited to give my final review. She is always blushing, always embarrassed, and constantly questioning what others are going to think about her relationships. I loved the characters in this series. I enjoyed the way they were developed, and the relationships they established. I will say, it definitely felt like the author had clear favorites in the harem. Ares gets the most attention and seems to develop the relationship the deepest, with Dante right behind him. Oliver and Milo felt like afterthoughts most of the time, but they were great characters. As far as world building goes, even after finishing the series, I have no idea what the point of their powers are. No idea why they have infinities. There really wasn’t any reason given. There is some OW drama in this book with Delaney, but I didn’t think it was cheating. It was a situation that should’ve been handled differently by Dante, sure. But I did like how he kind of needed her to claim his tiger. I read the whole series back to back, so I’m not sure if this is the book where Ares finally tells Mia off, but then he handles it so strangely. Not sure why Mia is still around, I wondered this the whole series. There is a little too much unnecessary things brought up, using the bathroom, seating arrangements, etc. that could’ve been edited better to give more action to the plot instead.

Dr. Phil, Oprah! This is the 2nd book in the series and much like the first book is predominantly focuses on the Infinity groups relationships. That doesn’t just include with each other but with people outside their immediate group, like Mia and the boys’ parents. I think the plot is super slow as I mentioned it predominantly revolves around the relationships, which I don’t mind btw, but I would of liked to have seen more about what’s going outside of that. We start to see a bit of Amanda’s background and gather why they have been on the run all these years but other than that there really hasn’t been any major reveals. As I mentioned in my review of this books’ predecessor I would give a more informed decision about my thoughts in the FMC, Laura. I think because she is ignorant of Infinities and because she has such a “norms” way of thinking she lets her jealousy to get the better of her instead of putting her foot down and claiming her territory she sulks off and gets angry. I think she says sorry way too much, she obviously has a strong personality, otherwise she would be considered dominant but she averts her eyes all the time. I get the whole “being a habit” due to her life circumstances but it’s been some time now I think she can open up a bit more. Now after all that don’t get me wrong there is something there otherwise I wouldn’t have devoured the book like I have. The reason behind the rating though are those pesky grammar errors!

Intriguing story line slow burn PNR I like it so far. Very interesting world build and plot. Lot of mystery. Well designed characters who are given depth. Albany does this beautifully in the first two books. I really hope that will change dramatically as I'm intrigued about all of them! There's also a lot going on in the here and now and I'm missing the characters histories a bit. In this part for example there's an award ceremony for one of the guys who we don't know much about yet and I was hoping that this will be the time to get to know them better but it was just a backdrop to another twist around the clear favourite Ares in the end. Milo and Olivers maybe relationship is hinted on but that's about it. And given the time they get to spend with Laura they might as well just be the gay couple that's best friends with the main love interest! I find that a bit frustrating but overall a very solid, enjoyable read with good humour and lots of mystery. Steam factor increasing but still very tame so far. No MM action in sight :)

The story is fine. I feel like there's a whole load of nothing going on in this series, but the guys are total cuties. I feel like there's not a whole lot of equal loving among the guys. Where's Milo half the time? Seems like Ares monopolises her time, and Dante, too, in this book. They are my fave, but still, perhaps it's just 'cause we're lacking time with the other two? My only complaint is that there were some minor grammatical errors. But I can get over that as long as I know what they are trying to say.

Ive read all 3 books and i really like them. You definitely have to keep reading..at first is a little irritating because All She Wants To Do Is disappear but she was kept hidden for most of her life. As the books go on the story gets better. Cautiously hopefully. A pleasant RH series. I really like the characters and the extended family community relationships. FMC insecurities are understandable, but a bit close to simpering wimpiness at times. Nice that the core relationships are evolving rather than yet another instalove fest. So far, the author is managing to create some original scenarios. The high schoolers actually reflect their ages. Really hoping the story isn't heading to predictable RH territory. FMC insecurities are understandable, but a bit close to simpering wimpiness at times. Nice that the core relationships are evolving rather than yet another instalove fest. The author will likely lose me if Mia does the scorned woman thing, teams up with Leon in hopes of eliminating Laura and/or stealing her abilities, etcetera. 4 stars for Infinity Chronicles: Book Two by Albany Walker. This is book two in the Infinity Series. Let me start by saying the covers of these books are extremely eye catching. This is one of my favourite RH series' out there. Laura is thrust into a world she knew nothing about, into a world filled with secrets and mystery. Whilst it is little slow to begin with, this series managed to hold me captivated and by the last half of the series i was totally hooked. Milo, Ollie, Dante and (my favourite) Ares are all part of an infinity waiting for their synergist. Laura stumbles into their life and they have to explain the ins and outs to here.
