Corny's definitely the man to put your money on, if you're looking for a winner. This book is filled with one exciting gunfight after the other and definitely successfully portrays compassionate camaraderie throughout the entire story. If you don't like one adventurous episode just keep reading, as each new episode is better than the previous! No problem awarding five stars to this successfully descriptive rendition of old western adventures. If you do find yourself becoming lackadaisical, just Corny's definitely the man to put your money on, if you're looking for a winner. Too, Mr. Powell continues to be a master in his selections of storylines, and all of his many characters were perfectly selected for their assigned roles. You will find many suspenseful episodes throughout the entire story,f and some will definitely have you on the edge of your seat. Also, there are some entertaining romantic interludes to pacify anyone's expectations. Everything you want in a story. Corny is nothing like he was and still was not a bad person before. Not like the ones he hung with. Now he is more like the people he is hanging out with. A great supporter of injustice against innocence. He has a fear of the woman he loves being hurt from the bad people of his past. Can he get away from that past and save the ones he loves. Grabs you and won't let you stop reading without wondering what is going to happen next. I highly recommend this series.

I was into the third book, I read one book out of order. I was enjoying it for the most part but someone should of read the books before they were published, characters name were wrong at times, what made me stop reading is they used Gods name in vain , as a cuss word. To bad because I wanted to finish this series. Would not recommend if you don't like God's name used in vain. It's to bad because I was almost done with the series.

#4 and counting This series is really quite GREAT 👍. Usually by #3 my interest faces and ends. Not this series ----- Each character is developed easily leading towards the next book when one is featured as the primary focus and it's done extremely well. Bravo. I'm anxiously awaiting each book of this series. This author is my 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 favorite. Hope he'll be loved by many, many others. Thanks Mr Powell💃

A JP Western Action Adventure (VTAS) (TTRW) (AWFF) JP has penned another western about the frontier which had a young man regretting actions when he was young until he met with different people and resolved his feelings of having so many young folks on his mind. He ran from an early disgrace only to have the ones who caused his disgrace show up again. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

She be dead now. I chose this rating due to some of the bad sentence structure that flows through out this book. Surely someone is editing this book and should catch and correct these basic errors. The plot of the book is interesting and keeps your attention.

Great Western Series Great western series Another great book in a great series. I'm really enjoying the Texas Riders series with the follow through of characters from book to book.  A great western read with action and a little romance.

Not really very believable. Protagonist goes from a penniless drunk to an owner of a number of hotels in 2 years with no explanation. I normally like Joesph Powell's books and have rated them highly, but quit this less than halfway through.

We get the deep dark secret Corny has been hiding in an action packed all western story of vengeance! One I wanted to read straight through. Another interesting saga in this series! I was gifted a copy, no review was required. My review is voluntary.
