"It's The Martian meets The Evil Dead... at the end of the Aztec Empire." A new prehistoric scifi horror from an Ancient Alien visitor. I wish he'd hurry up and sacrifice me, like I planned it. Otherwise I might die in this dank temple. But here he stands, nephew to the emperor of a quarter-million Aztec warriors, and Moctezuma does the one thing I don't want: he waits. I've been locked up on this planet too long. If I don't get home soon, I'll be one dead alien. All I really need is for Moctezuma to drag me up to the altar, pluck out my beating heart, maybe coat his forearms with my blood if he has time. Is that so much to ask? I wonder...Maybe Moctezuma knows what I really am. I mean, I look human. At least I think I got all the head-holes in the right places. But what if Moctezuma knows about the ancient astronauts? What if, this time, my adventure is over? ---------------------------------------------------------------- This ebook (soon to be an audio production at Overcast Magazine) also includes one bonus story: An award-winning scifi/horror tale, "A Long, Quiet Burn"

Two short and wickedly great stories to read when you are bored (or not bored at all) to warp your senses. Quite bizarre and entertainingly 'off the wall'. A major thumbs up, Mr. Stever! The Moctezuman has all the best components. Got all the bases covered: Aliens, gods, sex, love, magic and humor! This one is the funniest I have read this evening, especially the attached prequel. BTW why did you think the short people should feel guilty about loving marshmallows? Just curious.

This was actually a couple small stories. Interesting as was not expecting anything besides that there was aliens involved. At first it threw me a little as it jumped into story and I thought I might have missed something. As I got a couple pages in it was easy to catch on what was happening and follow along. I did wish it had more length to it as was interested in what happened next. The second one was also short and again I felt that I wanted more of the story. I would check out more on both o This was actually a couple small stories. Interesting as was not expecting anything besides that there was aliens involved. I would check out more on both of these stories if the author expanded them or continues on. The third short which only showed two chapters I was not really interested in. Over all I liked what I read except the third part.

Both stories were gr8 reads Short, easy to read, extremely imaginative and entertaining. Woke up in the middle of the night for non related reasons, started to read these stories to distract myself. Couldn't stop reading till I was done, glad they were short or I night still be reading. Highly recommended. Both stories were gr8 reads Short, easy to read, extremely imaginative and entertaining.
