At the end of the last book we knew that this book was going to be about Audra and Franco. Audra is Imogen’s best friend and pretty much a “one and done” girl and Franco is Jesse’s best friend and he has a “3 times max” rule. These two have explosive chemistry but are both very afraid and closed off. I liked their story but there really wasn’t much out of the ordinary to set it apart.

Oh wow! I really don’t know how Jasinda does it. Her books are just amazing, they just suck you in and you don’t want to leave the world that your reading. It happens every time I read a book by her. This book it is hot and steamy to say the least. It also has a great humour to it. I love that the characters in this series are in there 40’s yet when reading it, it feels like there younger. I loved the back and forth with Franco and Audra. Franco and Audra have similar relationship issues. For starters, they both have a 3 to 4 max rule (meaning they won’t see the same person more than 3 or 4 times) and they both no clue how to deal with unwanted feelings. Granted with incidents in their respective pasts, these similarities may be warranted, but what happens when they hook up and rockets go off, lighting bolts light up the sky and feelings start to worm their way in? Well if I did spoilers, I’d tell ya, but I just can’t ruin this one. Let’s just say there is a lot more to Franco than just his six pack, good looks and according to Audra his Magical D*ck and there is more to Imogen than her crazy personality, her happy go lucky lifestyle and according to Franco her tight sexy butt. While these two might have a lot of baggage, at least in their own minds, their story is sexy, fun and soooooo worth reading. Drilled is fast paced with a humorous storyline and a great addition to the series. If you haven’t read book 1, Hammered, I Highly Recommend grabbing up both ASAP. You won’t be sorry you did.

I loved the conflicts between all the characters... and I especially loved the new one introduced. What I appreciate the most of this series? The age of the characters. It's a stereotypical assumption that at forty, your career, love and life are in place. Well, that's not always the case. You are on the right path when it comes to your job, career, but scared to commit. Scared to let someone in. This is what this series is about. Letting go of the hold and live. I truly do recommend this book (series). I"m in love with the characters thus far and cannot wait for what's to come.

The feels! So this book left me with an emotional high. A very good one. Franco & Audra's story is full of soo many emotions I was getting whiplash of who I wanted to console, who I wanted to slap for being so stubborn. These two were fascinating to read. I liked how Author Jasinda Wilder gave us these flawed characters and showed us their journey in finding how to deal with fixing themselves with self discovery as well as finding their equal! There's a tight bond and their no-matter-what support for each other is something we'd all love to have in our lives. Yeah, they all give each other hell and the witty banter is hilarious, but beneath it all, there's deep affection. As this series progresses I'm getting more and more addicted to the amazing cast of characters. This installment peeled back even more layers and I got to see how Dad Bod Contracting got started. And no, I haven't changed my mind, if I could find the phone number I'd be calling to have something fixed, even if I had to break it first. Imogen's best friend is badass. She takes no shit from nobody, except herself. She's been hiding from her past for a decade and it's not until Franco rocks her world that she crashes into the wall she's built around her heart. She wants him, but she doesn't want to. She has a fuck and flee system that works very well for her... until him. What happens when for the first time she doesn't want to leave? She tries to flee her feelings, but it doesn't work. Good thing she's got the best bestie ever, right? At least she can get drunk and share magical unicorn dick stories. Franco is magical in other ways too, but that's not something she wants to consider. Getting to know a hookup is against the rules. Too bad he is best friends and also works with Imogen's man, so there's no avoiding him. She tries to hide the drool when they are near each other, but her friends feel the sexual tension between them. Hopefully, their 'fireball' won't take them all out. I'm keeping a fire extinguisher near my Kindle just to be safe... I can't wait to get my hands on the next dad bod, I mean story. The girl talk is so fun and I'm excited to for the sass to be aimed in another direction. Taunts like, "—might be pregnant from how hard Franco was eye-fucking her." can go both ways, right? Look out, it's gonna be good! The line forms here...

I have never read two characters that aggravated me so much as Franco and Audra. I swear, if I could have reached in to the book I would have smacked each of them, several times! To find out just what made them the way they are and why the have having so much trouble letting go and allowing themselves to fall into one another. I swear it was like pulling teeth to get these two to finally open up to each other, but when they do, did it really help their current state? I will say though, my favorite part of their story comes late in the book (no secrets spilled here). I absolutely loved how they finally let go, and just how they did that. I loved every minute, every word, every detailed description of what went on in and around that Condo. That right there was a very beautiful and romantic scene..and there was no sex involved! It was fantastic. I am so loving this series and I certainly hope you jump on this one because you will not regret it. I can hardly wait to read the next book!!! I highly recommend this book, this series!

Love conquers fear…. Whew! Turn up the fans as it is going to get hot, hot, hot in here! Franco and Audra are not certain about anything when it comes to what is actually happening between the two of them. The chemistry between them plays out with all the volatility of a runaway train but with humour and emotion that caught my attention right away. They protested too much, it’s true, but they also were as honest and up front as they could be, especially when they started digging under the surface of their rules… I loved these characters and the friendships that surrounded them. Imogen and Jessie, their best friends, provided the frank talk and support they both needed. I missed the first in the series but I will be going back to read that right away. If you are looking for heat and emotion, this is the perfect read to satisfy that craving…

I absolutely couldn’t wait for Franco & Audra’s story and it was everything I imagined. There chemistry was explosive, there sex was off the charts but their pasts still haunts them. Both stubborn Franco & Audra avoid each other but when their friends step it, they finally cave. This was another amazing book in this series that I could t put down once I started reading. I can’t wait until Book 3 comes out. Another 5 Star read that everyone must one click.

Audra is a confident, independent 40 year old and has a reputation as a cold hearted man eater but that’s how she chooses to behave to protect herself from getting hurt. She still feels the effects of being badly burned by a man in her past so now she has fun with men but doesn’t keep them around for more than one night. Franco is a contractor and works for Dad bod with his friends. He’s never short of female attention but limits the time he spends with women to the occasional date and a bed. He doesn’t do commitments, relationships and rarely repeats with the same woman but with Audra, he gets a surprise because she lives her life the same way as he does. As much as Audra and Franco try to avoid each other, fate keeps bringing them together and they have several awkward interactions that end with them again going their separate ways. When two people who have been hurt come together with explosive chemistry and a deep connection, will either of them have the guts to face their fears or will their stubbornness and defiance stop them from getting the love that they deserve? I loved Audra and Franco’s story: it’s refreshing to read a book where the main characters are 40+ and mature adults. There are some great side characters who’s stories I’m looking forward to reading and there was a lot of humour in this story which made it enjoyable to read so I would definitely recommend it.

From the moment I read Hammered (Jesse and Imogen’s story) I knew that it would be so easy to fall into this world that Jasinda Wilder is able to create. Both dealing with past hurts, Audra and Franco are extremely quick to discard any notion of elevating their relationship to anything but one night stands. As the story progresses, we learn just why these two characters are so cynic when it comes to love and relationships and what started as a one time fling much to the chagrin of both characters, soon turns into something that neither of them is seemingly ready for. With the help of great (meddlesome) friends, these two characters finally are able to start moving on from their past in order to start carving a future where both of them are able to both trust and love again. I absolutely loved Drilled and though it has the most angst I’ve ever read to date that had me nervous as the book came to a conclusion with no seeming resolution in sight, I’m happy to say that Jasinda Wilder gave her characters that happy ending that we as readers hoped for from the first page. I do have to say that I’m going to miss hearing about Audra and Franco and though they’ll probably be in the next couple books in the Dad Bod Contracting series, I could SO go for a sequel for Audra and Franco. Sooo recommend this book! And thanks to the author for allowing me to review her awesome book in exchange for an honest review.

Drilled (Dad Bod Contracting #2) by Jasinda Wilder is such a beautiful, mesmerizing, enjoyable read. I love this series because it's about older characters and helps get the point around that you can find true love at any age or any time in your life. This book was a pleasant, fun read for me. I think everyone is going to love it as much as I did. This book is Audra and Franco's story and boy you will not be let down. I loved these two so much. Audra is pushy and speaks her mind, but she's also learning to open her heart to Franco. Watching the two of them grow together is so heartwarming, especially with everything they have been through. Franco is an amazing man, I just loved him. The moments Audra just sets back and watches him, I couldn't help but fall harder. He's a memorable man. So if you love romances where the characters have to learn how to love again, grow as one, learn to leave the past behind and fight to stay together, then you're going to enjoy this book. I sure did. All the characters in the Dad Bod series are phenomenal and worth every last minute of your reading. I give Drilled (Dad Bod Contracting #2) by Jasinda Wilder 5 out of 5 LOVING STARS!

For me this one was a bit boring at the start, sure there was a lot of hot sex between Audra and Franco, but man both of them were full of issues, which made it not all that interesting. I LOVED this book!! So I already knew that the Dad Bod Contracting series was going to be good after I read the first one. I am loving these characters so hard. First of all I love a book from one POV, I never thought I would be that person that gets picky. This story was so easy to follow and I became even more of a Jasinda fan. I love her writing!! I don't know how to feel about this book, I mean I liked it but at the same time it was like blah. Drilled is the second book in the Dad Bod Contracting series. I really love this series. It has real people in everyday life situations with really spicy, sexy times! The heroines are strong and full of spunk and the men are hot and dreamy. Audra and Franco’s story is great! They both have rules and tall walls guarding their hearts. They don’t want to break those rules or get too close, but they can’t resist each other. Their attraction is more than physical, it is elemental. 3,5 stars I liked this one better than the first one in the series. I just couldn't really get into the idea that someone would be thát jaded for 20 years because of something that happened in college. 3,5 stars I liked this one better than the first one in the series. Holy mother of ovaries, I think I might have been murdered by Romance. This kicked me so hard in the heart. Right in the aorta. And then the uterus for good measure. FUCK. I thought this series couldn't get any better than it's predecessor, Hammered , which I loved so very much. I thought Wilder couldn't write me a better hero than Jesse "Alpha-mallow" O'Neill but oh no, she had to give me Franco "I'll just casually whittle you a bunny rabbit while we have a serious conversation about feelings, oh Holy mother of ovaries, I think I might have been murdered by Romance. Morrissey. You just had to, didn't you, Wilder? Goddamnit. Where all the hot, older contractors hiding? Because I need one. Hot sex and a custom built library, please! Side-extremely-important-note: Something I love and appreciate in this series is that the MCs are older but they aren't treated like they're older. Audra and Imogen can still get painfully drunk and blow raspberry's at each other. Franco can still run around with a snake scaring the bejesus out of his makeshift family. They can still have fun because you know what? Being 40 doesn't make you dead inside. Hell, being any age doesn't make you dead inside. And you know what else? You can still want and have babies past your late 30s and it not be a big fucking deal. And not for one second does Wilder suggest otherwise. I don't think she even alludes to it. The term "Geriatric Pregnancy" makes me oh so bristly. As if it doesn't suck enough that your uterus has a ticking clock on it but hey, let's call it something fucking depressing just to add on the shame and guilt and pressure to procreate at exactly the "right" time. Jesus. The medical world can just fuck the fuck off with their bullshit terms. Even if you don't want a baby, you shouldn't be made to feel the way women are about it. It's cruel and unnecessary and I'm just do damn glad, Wilder didn't do this to me. To us. Because we don't deserve it and she knows that. You're the boss, Wilder. Now gimme Laurel and Ryder to lose my shit over, stat! Ps. A just-because-gif of Brad Pitt in the Legends of the Fall because that's how Franco's described and goddamn, Pitt was beautiful even if I do hate this movie beyond belief: Yeah... no wonder Audra lost her shit over him at first sight.

Jasinda Wilder is writing for the fans and the fans requested older heroes & heroines, second chance romances with real, everyday people. And she delivers! The Dad Bod series are quick, sexy & fun reads! The stories are based around the Dad Bod construction company and the hot, hot men who work there. Drilled features Franco and Audra. They are both self-professed non-relationship, non-committal people. Fueled by past heart ache and past hurts, they keep their hearts on lock down. Both have their own ways of avoiding their hook-ups becoming more. “I like to keep things neat, simple, and compartmentalized.” Franco is super-hot & sexy. But he is also kind and considerate. He has a strong brotherhood with his work partners and they stick together, especially if one of them hits a crisis. God he’s beautiful. Masculine, vital and vigorous and primal, but just…beautiful. Audra is a strong and amazing heroine. She had a rough life in her early years and has overcome many obstacles. She is confident and independent. She shields her heart to avoid getting it broken (again). “No strings, no expectations, no weirdness. Just… fun.” Audra has met her match. And yet so has Franco. They have so many common interests. So much chemistry & banter between them! They burn up the sheets! They start to feel overwhelmed emotionally and neither know how to handle it. They don’t want to risk emotional attachments or letting it get too personal. And they are both so stubborn. But their fire is too hot! The emotions & connection of sex with feelings freaks them both out. Audra is clearly thrown off of her game. Franco is as well but he just shuts down. They have layers of emotional angst because of their pasts. “I’m just a guy and you’re just a girl, and we’re just having this moment. You and me, together.” The Dad Bod series has been a fun and sexy get away! I am enjoying it and look forward to Ryder & Laurel’s story - Nailed! ‘I’m still pissed at him for vanishing on me. Only I get to pull that move. And yes, I’m fully aware of the hypocrisy of that statement.” 4 stars #AuthorJasindaWilder #HotAndSteamy #Drilled #MustRead #Sexy #AlphaMale #StrongFemale #FrancoAndAudra #BlushingBabesAreUpAllNight #BookBlogger #Romance #DadBodSeries #alphamale #angsty #WhatToRead #BookLover #review #BookBlogger #stories #Emotional #NewAdult #NA
