   I originally picked up Street Angel’s Dog during Free Comic Book Day 2018 because of the cover. It was just different enough to grab my attention and the pink background with a tough looking girl and a scared dog piqued my curiosity. Unfortunately, this comic didn’t do it for me. I didn’t like the art style and there was no plot. The story starts off with a dog running from a pack of kids who are throwing fireworks at it. When the dog ends up cornered in a back alley behind a dumpster, it’s rescu I originally picked up Street Angel’s Dog during Free Comic Book Day 2018 because of the cover. It was just different enough to grab my attention and the pink background with a tough looking girl and a scared dog piqued my curiosity. Unfortunately, this comic didn’t do it for me. I didn’t like the art style and there was no plot. The story starts off with a dog running from a pack of kids who are throwing fireworks at it. When the dog ends up cornered in a back alley behind a dumpster, it’s rescued by Street Angel. Street Angel kicks butt, rescues the dog and takes it on a whirlwind trip through the city. This wasn’t enough of a story to really grab me or entice me to learn more about Street Angel. I actually felt bad for the dog, who looked scared witless throughout the entire thing. Unfortunately, not a comic I will be keeping.

   Sem najdu tale strip, k mam idejo risat svojo zgodbo o punci k skejta in mal gledam kako so se drugi loteval skejtanja v stripu. Ni sicer velik poudark na skejtanju, je dost bolj akcija in pretepanje, mi je pa všeč kako je vse njeno glavno skoraj, da v ozadju in je zgodba v bistvu o zgubljenem kužku, ki mu pomaga najt dom - fin pristop. Tud kako je narisan me ni takoj pšritegnilo, sem se lotil brat zaradi tematike, al pač vsaj zarad skejtanja - pa bolj kot berem bl paše, verjetno je pa tudi avtor Sem najdu tale strip, k mam idejo risat svojo zgodbo o punci k skejta in mal gledam kako so se drugi loteval skejtanja v stripu. Ni sicer velik poudark na skejtanju, je dost bolj akcija in pretepanje, mi je pa všeč kako je vse njeno glavno skoraj, da v ozadju in je zgodba v bistvu o zgubljenem kužku, ki mu pomaga najt dom - fin pristop. Tud kako je narisan me ni takoj pšritegnilo, sem se lotil brat zaradi tematike, al pač vsaj zarad skejtanja - pa bolj kot berem bl paše, verjetno je pa tudi avtor mal nadgradil slog ko je mel že več kilometrine.

   I got this book in a pile of other free comics. The cover drew me into it, so I decided to check out the story. I liked the art style of the issue. The story itself was a sweet one but confusing at the same time, I couldn’t find what the plot was about. I liked the concept of “Homeless Ninja”, it’s what kept my attention as well as the shenanigans that her and the dog got into. After reading this, I would like to read more about the “Street Angel” to see what other craziness she’ll get into next I got this book in a pile of other free comics.    This was the one and only FCBD comic that made me look into picking up books that I would actually pay for. I really liked this one. It's appealing, it's sweet, it's rough.
