Some of the recipes look a little samey but there are a few I'd like to try. Some of the recipes look a little samey but there are a few I'd like to try.

INTERESTING BUT LONGWINDED! The recipes are interesting, but need too many ingredients and too much time in the slow cooker. Boiling ingredients first would cut down on cooking time. I have used a slow cooker for thirty years and usually cook something within two hours. Despite this, the book is very much food for thought.
