This book is about a boy named Peter Pan and his adventures in Neverland. This book is definitely in the fantasy genre because it takes place in the magical land of Neverland and has magical characters like tinker bell. I gave this book four stars because of its bright, colorful illustrations that bring in the readers as well as the very fun creative storyline. This book is suitable for children in the younger grade levels like first grade.

Walt Disney's Peter Pan Dempster, Al This book is a retelling of the movie classic Disney's Peter Pan with movie stills. The book has easy reading lines for young children to connect not only to the story of a young boy that never grew up, but to the ideas of freedom youth and self choice. The book is a great early reader.

Peter Pan would be great to use for older grades to lead-in to a play! Children of all ages enjoy this book and love having it read to them. I would use it for older grades (probably 3rd-5th). Also, parts of this story could be used as a Reader's Theater, as well.

I got to see Peter Pan on Broadway in 1979 and got to speak to Sandy Duncan after the show outside the theater. What a THRILL! I was 18, and it's one of my greatest memories!

I have nothing against Peter Pan, but I think it's silly to try to cram all of it into a Golden Book format.

The version I read to my grandbaby is very much like the movie and the illustrations the same as well... not blocky but not to complex to follow. Just a nice story.

Peter Pan by Walt Disney Company is a children’s fairytale book. The adventures of Peter Pan is a classic story, Never Land is something that all kids dream of. Peter Pan is most closely related to boy’s interests but Tinkerbelle adds to the interests of little girls. I would recommend this book for children five to nine based on the storyline and the level of comprehension necessary to understand the story and the fact that most of it is make believe and cannot happen in reality. The movie also adds a more realistic feature to the story because of the fact that the students are able to interact with. Overall, I enjoyed reading Peter Pan.

Walt Disney's Peter Pan is in fact one of the most classic books that Disney ever created. It's a mixture between a fairy tale and a mystical land that they live in. The best part about this novel which takes place in neverland is that Peter Pan simply doesn't ever age. He is eternally a boy that no matter how much time passes by, he stays the same. Through all of the adventure and action in Peter Pans life he encounters different types of people such as mermaids, pirates and native americans just like the world we live on. This mix of different characters provides a good clash of conflicting interests. I was read Peter Pan as a child and I plan to read it to my children as well as students. It's a children's book for the hall of fame.

This book hasn't won any awards. It is geared towards grades K-3. This book is a Disney Classic, which talks about Peters adventures with Tinkerbell Wendy and her brother. It talks about how sad it is to grow up into an adult. After meeting Captain Hook, Wendy realizes that growing up is a normal and that it eventually is going to happen. Peter though will never know what growing up is like because he won't have the pleasure of experiencing that. This book is great because it goes right along wi This book hasn't won any awards. I would use this book as an activity for a fairytale lesson. I could also have the students then write about what they would want to adventure with Peter Pan.
