   If you're a fan of the 'Cassandra Myles Witch' series, this short interlude-tale is a great bonus and a page-turner read. If you're unfamiliar with the series, I suggest you read Book 1 first, otherwise there is a danger you will lose out on some of the important background and enjoy this novelette less than you otherwise would. And that would be a REAL pity! If you're a fan of the 'Cassandra Myles Witch' series, this short interlude-tale is a great bonus and a page-turner read.    When Love Casts a Shadow is a fun little novella in the Cassandra Myles Witch Series that should be read sometime after the first book, Blood and Loss. I, myself read it after book 4 and found it answered a few questions that I had in the back of my mind about how Cassandra ended up in Vancouver. It was entertaining to see just how much trouble Cassandra could attract in a little over an hour of reading.

   I want some more. Outstanding, this was what I needed, if you love the series you will agree, this novella gives you all you need, questions answered and more depth to an already wonderful story. I am left feeling like I had half a bar of chocolate, satisfied yet hungry for more.
