Not every story was to my taste whether narratively or artistically, but it's a warm collection about having love, so even the stuff that wasn't quite my bag left me happy. My favorite was "Mixed Plate," which has a romance AND a found family story, so it was basically someone writing exactly what I wanted without knowing me. (no score b/c I think it's pretty difficult to rate anthologies as a whole) cute collection of stories with romantic elements, ranging from slice-of-life to sci-fi (and in a range of styles). my favorite was "Mix-Plate", a romance set in Hawaii, with a found-family element and loving depictions of food preparation. bye (no score b/c I think it's pretty difficult to rate anthologies as a whole) cute collection of stories with romantic elements, ranging from slice-of-life to sci-fi (and in a range of styles). my favorite was "Mix-Plate", a romance set in Hawaii, with a found-family element and loving depictions of food preparation. bye

The seven stories of this comic and prose anthology pay loving tribute to the BL genre that clearly feed the creator's imaginations and artistic styles. Each story is sweet in its own way but for me the standouts are Aatmaja Pandya's "Radio Silence", a love story between an artist and a radio DJ, and Emily Forster's "Mix Plate" about a couple bonding over food and family in Hawaii. This is a lovely and inclusive anthology featuring boys loving boys and men loving men. It features seven short comics of different genres such as contemporary, fantasy and scifi. My favorite stories are by Kou Chen and S.M. Vidaurri. I was surprised to see a mostly text story with just a couple of art pieces by Shivana Sookdeo. I didn't expect it in what I thought as comics anthology. This is a lovely and inclusive anthology featuring boys loving boys and men loving men.
