    (1.5 Stars) The first volume of this series was an absolute joy, but unfortunately this follow up really does not deliver or meet up to the promise of its predecessor at all. The only aspect which did measure up was the quality of the drawing and colouring, which is still of the highest standard. This starts out interesting enough, but it soon gets messy, confusing and ridiculous. It lacks the cohesion, conviction and charm of the previous volume, and to be fair Vance’s introduction pretty much te (1.5 Stars) The first volume of this series was an absolute joy, but unfortunately this follow up really does not deliver or meet up to the promise of its predecessor at all. The only aspect which did measure up was the quality of the drawing and colouring, which is still of the highest standard. This starts out interesting enough, but it soon gets messy, confusing and ridiculous. It lacks the cohesion, conviction and charm of the previous volume, and to be fair Vance’s introduction pretty much tells us as much, as he hints at the problems he encountered whilst working on this project. This was an inconsistent, frustrating and disappointing conclusion that finished with a dreadful, lazy and abrupt ending.
