this is a great collection. the illustrations are beautiful and creepy. there is LOTS of footnotes. this is sometimes a good thing but they can be a little distracting. This is a beautiful collection of some good and some great stories by Algernon Blackwood. The illustrations are fittingly eerie. I would recommend this as a good introduction to Blackwood as it is only a sample of his full body of work.
