Not a fan of the Fantastic Four and definitely not a fan of the Thing. In my opinion, he is a one-dimensional, boring, and unlikeable character. I know out of the four he drew the short end of the stick, but he whines, his speech is tiresome, and the stories in this compilation where boring.

(This review may contain spoilers). Like with The Invisible Woman, I'm familiar with the Thing from the Fantastic Four. I enjoyed the opportunity to see different storylines with him and although I would have liked to see a bit more of his interactions with some of the other members of the Fantastic Four (particularly with him and Johnny), it was good to have the opportunity to see him, Reed and Sue... even though I thought that Reed didn't demonstrate his intelligence in not being able to figure (This review may contain spoilers). Although there wasn't a massive difference in the styles of the first comics in comparison to the last one, I did feel that the artwork did come across as a a bit different in the appearances of the characters. I did enjoy reading the Pegasus storyline. It was nice to see Ben interacting with those at the lab... and I couldn't help but feel sorry for Nuklo. I thought his childlike aspect came across really well... but it didn't seem like most of the characters knew he wasn't an actual villain. It was also good to see a couple of the other villains, such as Klaw. I thought it was interesting to see him battling it out with Ben and the others... and it was also really cool to see Goliath-Man (the second Giant-Man). I couldn't help but feel a lot of sympathy for him too, though. There were some nice elements of family running through this comic, particularly with Ben's interactions with Wundarr. Although I haven't seen Wundarr in previous comics, I had a lot of empathy for his character when the flashback sequences were shown. While it was interesting to see him as a mature adult, I did like seeing the emotional moment with him and Ben. It was also nice to see Alicia and Ben and how Ben was trying to support her. There were some really sweet moments between them... but I couldn't help feeling sorry for Mister Impossible. It was nice to see Ben give in to allow him to go with him... and Mister Impossible's difficulty in understanding did make for some amusing moments. I'm sure I'll be seeing more of Ben in other comics and I look forward to it.

Got to love the blue eyed Thing. It's hard to pinpoint exactly where the love lies with this guy, I mean he's rough and tough and almost as grumpy as The Hulk but damn he's loyal and probably has the biggest heart in ALL of the Marvel Universe. This collection gives us the Marvel Two in One Pegasus:Project arc which just shows the loyalty and heart of Benjamin J. Grimm as he takes a job at the Pegasus Project so he may keep an eye on the comatose Alien man-child Wundarr and in doing so gets himse Got to love the blue eyed Thing. This collection gives us the Marvel Two in One Pegasus:Project arc which just shows the loyalty and heart of Benjamin J. Grimm as he takes a job at the Pegasus Project so he may keep an eye on the comatose Alien man-child Wundarr and in doing so gets himself in some right scraps along the way. With guests like Quasar, Deathlok, Thundra, and The Black Goliath aka Giant-Man. Someone is trying to sabotage the project and it's up to Grimm and his friends to stop it. Also another two in one with the impossible man shows a loving Thing as he nervously goes to the first art exhibition of his girlfriend Alicia Masters with Impy tagging along to learn more about Earth and because he is lonely, bad guys from The Thing's past want to ruin the night and Ben doesn't want to smash up the place because his gal made these pieces of art. Just shows he would rather take a beating than ruin the love of his life's night. To finish off we have the classic 'This man...This monster' which is a character study of Grimm as someone steals his identity to destroy the Fantastic Four.

The contents of this compilation are all from the 60s and unfortunately it shows. The Thing is a New Yorker through and through but the writing style jars with it's attempt at writing the distinctive accent down
