An excellent book for low FODMAP recipes. My husband and I used to really struggle developing recipes on our own, but this is so much easier to follow. I have made at least 5 of the recipes to which I won’t reveal in this book which have had positive effects on mine and my husband’s health. There are a few recipes which are delicious but require a lot prep work and also slow cooking. Make sure to time for them. Additionally, my husband and I meal prep weekly which means same lunch everyday. This An excellent book for low FODMAP recipes. This book is not so accommodating for meal preps and is very hard to follow the weekly meal plans which the author gives in the beginning.

Great recipes! Some family and friends have experienced digestive ailments and in some cases have been properly diagnosed. So far this is the best cookbook I have come across with some excellent recipes that are great for everyone and easy on the gut!

Useful background data on which foods fall into categories of potential to cause digestive issues. Very helpful for setting up an elimination diet so you don't accidentally eat something that has same trigger as the foods you are trying to avoid. Also gives indication of strength of the food within it's group as is which are most likely to cause an issue and which only have a small amount of the trigger compounds so can likely eat some of them. Very educational cookbook I found the quiet gut cookbook to be extremely educational. The book does a nice job explaining how important diet is to people who suffer from digestion issues like IBS, IBD and colitis. The information provided regarding these ailments is very thorough. The book includes food plans to follow to help determine was ingredients trigger flair ups. The recipes are delicious and easy to prepare. I received this book for free.

This is a cross between an education book and a cook book. It is worth reading and I think worth buying, as opposed to a library copy, like I read, and owning if you need to follow this food regiment, as I seem to need to. I liked the format and the recipes seem pretty common sense, and more than enough that I'd use. This is a cross between an education book and a cook book. Really informative (although I've covered this information with my doctor already) and an awesome selection of recipes that seem all pretty easy to make. The rating may change from a five once I actually TRY the recipes. We'll see how it goes!
