Troy and his brothers wanted to go to a country, but instead they traveled to a world millions of miles away for an unknown reason. So they had to live there and try to find a way back to Earth, then they started to like it there so 3 brothers left to Earth while two stayed to bring home people they loved. There is no ending because its a series.

Very good! I really enjoyed the references to mysteries here on Earth. The whole "all brothers being extremely successful and amazing at everything" was a little much, but was just a minor issue I had with the book. Overall, it was very easy to get into this book, and was an enjoyable read. Very good! I really enjoyed the references to mysteries here on Earth. I have to be honest, for the first quarter or the book or so I wasnt really sure what was going on or what to expect. During that time I didnt find myself really being hooked by the story unfolding before my eyes. However once we started to explore more of Orona and the creatures in the world, I found myself very much enjoying the book. The story starts off with an airplane crashing in the middle of nowhere. Our hero and his million's of brothers(okay not a million but still...) cant figure out I have to be honest, for the first quarter or the book or so I wasnt really sure what was going on or what to expect. Our hero and his million's of brothers(okay not a million but still...) cant figure out where they have crash landed. As they struggle to make a camp and survive the damage we slowly realize they are no longer on earth. Thus the world of Orona is born. Adam James really found something in his world, I loved seeing big foot and giants in this story. Taking myths from the real world and making them real on Orona just made for a fun concept that wasnt fully realized. However I know it is the first of a series which I now look forward to exploring. I hope to be able to explore more people/kingdoms and just the overall world of orona and its history in future installments. Our characters for the most part feel more One-dimensional and lack something over all, however towards the end I did find myself figuring out who I liked or didnt like even without as much description as I would like. The world seemed to always give us little teases of something bigger however its just waiting to be given the spot light in future books. I believe Orona and Adam James will get better as the series goes on.

Fortal, soon to be re-released as Orona Extremely creative. A beautiful world with amazing creatures and people. I am delighted that this is book 1 with the promise of more to come. So many questions yet to be answered!

The concept was decent but this book was in serious need of an experienced editor. It is plagued by strange phrasing and weird (and often incorrect) word choice. If it had been occasional I might have been able to overlook it but it was constant and very off-putting.

Good premise, bad editing and underdeveloped voice and writing style.

Too many stories. The plot is sound, but there's way too many stories crammed into one book! There's too much information going on. Too many stories. The plot is sound, but there's way too many stories crammed into one book! There's too much information going on.
