Having taken control of Computer Love Inc., Marius has many plans for it. A good many have embraced the thought of having companions in their lives. These robots are able to do just about anything, including keeping people company when they need it. A good many have embraced the thought of having companions in their lives. These robots are able to do just about anything, including keeping people company when they need it. Though things for the company have been rocky at best, he knows there's a chance of bringing things around. He just has to find the proper balance in which to do so. While conducting secret experiments to better enhance the companions, Marius has come to find that it's possible to introduce the human psyche into a prototype. While some may find such thoughts and actions abhorring, he has no problem using himself as a guinea pig into order to perfect the new companions. Deep inside, he knows that what he's doing is sort of taboo. Yet if he's to succeed in finding a level ground in this new world he lives in, he needs to do everything possible to understand his environment. As tensions rise, Marius soon realizes that he may be in way over his head. There are little things occurring around him that he can't explain. Deep inside, he knows someone is keeping an eye him. Whoever it is, is afraid that he'll unlock secrets within his companions he's not supposed to. Unwilling to sit on the sidelines, he dives head-first into his current projects determined to make sense of the changes he's put in place. Somehow, he will bring Computer Love Inc. to the plateau he wants it to be on. The question is, will he be able to weather the lessons his creations teach him along the way? While I started this series with this second book, I do think it has promise. I found the story's concept intriguing. Then again, I'm an avid science-fiction fan. Robots and cloning are subjects that have been around for ages. Kurt and Jessica take them a step further, and pose the questions of what it would be like to live with both already in existence. The little cliffhanger at the end of the book left me wanting to know what happens next. Will I be reading the next book? You bet!

Computer Love Inc. II: Gestation is the second stunning installment to a fascinating series. Both Kurt and Jessica Hansen have created a world in which readers will love. Once I opened the book, I was immediately transported into the scenes. Inside, readers will marvel at the scientific discoveries and computer technology. I was amazed. Artificial intelligence is a major topic and theme being explored by more and more scientists. The main character doing the same is believable. His creation is one that he should disable but can't bring himself to do so...reminded me of Frankenstein a bit. Government politics plays another role of this novel. Marius is a CEO who has the power to create amazing things...and one of those things are wanted badly by the government. The results are mind blowing. Technology, future, and fantasy all wrapped into one marvelous title. Fast-paced, gripping, and highly entertaining. Computer Love Inc. II: Gestation will leave readers wondering what if...Truly a thrilling journey that I didn't want to end. Overall, I highly recommend this to readers everywhere.
