   A solid bio in terms of being informative about Anita Loos, but I found the author inserted his opinions/POV too much in this one. I don't read a bio for the author's opinion of the various things in the subject's life.    The subject is fascinating and Anita brushed shoulders with so many celebrities! Got shot at by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Celebrated New Year's with Larry Hagman. Was best friend with Charlie Chaplin's wife. There are a lot of remarkable anecdotes in this book. Anita did not have the best taste in men, though. However, I am not sure if I care about Carey's style of writing. The subject is fascinating and Anita brushed shoulders with so many celebrities! Got shot at by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
