Good listening. It was a radio presentation from the days before tv. I enjoyed the historical aspect and the family friendly stories too.

We started this series today, thinking it would be appealing to our boys, ages 5 and 7. The first story was ok (although my seven year old said it was "weird"), but the second one called "A Member of the Family" involved a teenager strongly arguing with his grandfather over playing loud rock music, lying, being greedy and complaining with a "middle school" type of attitude. It's just not the type of attitude I want my grade school children to be exposed to yet, and it didn't keep their interest, We started this series today, thinking it would be appealing to our boys, ages 5 and 7. It's just not the type of attitude I want my grade school children to be exposed to yet, and it didn't keep their interest, so we cut it short. Then third story started out about friendship, but within the first few minutes it mentions divorce and two characters say "Shut Up" about ten times to each other (we stopped that one too). I don't think this series is age appropriate for any child under age 8-10, possibly even older. We'll shelve this one for now. Very disappointing for Focus on the Family, although maybe I misunderstood the target audience for Odyssey.

Decent dramatic presentation with good lessons. Didn't capture my attention as much as I anticipated.
