Want old fashioned American food I don't want beans, hot flavorings, edamame, or mocha flavorings!! Why can't you come up with a 1500 calorie cookbook with recipes like the ones out of your earliest cookbooks? This Betty Crocker cookbook has some good ideas for cooking and weight loss. The idea of the cookbook is to give you a variety of recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and sometimes a snack) that equal 1500 calories a day.

Delicious, simple recipes! It’s not surprising that these Betty Crocker recipes are easy to make and delicious, even being lower calorie. Worth adding to your collection.

Rather impressed with this easy to follow diet cookbook. The recipes dabble in international cuisines, as well as American standards. They look flavorful, seem simple to duplicate and are made with wholesome ingredients. I would have given it 5 stars if some of the servings per recipe had been scaled down. Any recipe that makes more than 4 servings per batch is a bad idea for this dieter to attempt, especially if it's delicious. Rather impressed with this easy to follow diet cookbook.
