I'm reading this one for a course I'm taking on teaching comics in the classroom. It's a nice anecdotal pedagogical aide that helps teachers destigmatize graphic novel use in their own classrooms. in fairness, i'm not a new-to-the-craft educator any more and i no longer really actively seek out other people's ideas with the same fervor i did when i was in grad school and so very unsure of myself. i like that this text is peppered with student responses because it helps illuminate the concepts and I'm reading this one for a course I'm taking on teaching comics in the classroom. A good tool for the classroom that generates ideas for teaching graphic novels. Make sure you also check out the online supplements.
