I already love the Percy Jackson series so much. It's on the young side of Young Adult, to be sure. But it is just so damn fun I can't help but love it. Sea of Monsters was a more accurate representation of the second book. The first one left out some fairly key scenes and characters. This one was spot on, if my memory serves me correctly... which it probably doesn't but whatever. I loved it. That's what matters. I think what I am enjoying most about the graphic novel version of this series is that they focus on the darker elements of the series. I know I said that in my review for the first one, but its important. I think a lot of people don't like that about this series but for me? It's what I like the most. I like the Dark Side. You're totally shocked right? Anyway, if you like comics and you enjoyed the Percy Jackson books pick these up. They're super quick and fun and entertaining. Come to the dark side.

While I liked the first graphic novel, I enjoyed this one more. It did skip over some parts however, the flow of the story was a lot smoother. I loved that there were little details in the illustrations that added more of the story. These have been so fun to read and I can't wait to continue! Even though I have read this series before, after reading and absolutely loving the first book in graphic novel form, I knew I needed to read them all over again in the same way. It is amazing how much I had forgotten that the graphic novels helped me to remember. Most of all though, I am so happy that the sarcastic humor of Percy and his friends, still holds strong in these. Once again the pages were filled not only with Riordan's amazing wit and writing but beautifully done illustrations that were hard to tear my eyes from. I love the artist's rendition of all the characters, in both physical appearance and being able to capture their personality in said appearance unto the pages. Wonderfully done!

This was another great one! Percy needs to deal with Tantalus a new director at his camp and well a new quest awaits to retrieve the golden fleece to prevent the thalia tree from dying and a chariot race and then a quest and then fighting Scylla and Charbydis and the myth that they bring and travelling with Annabeth and Tyson (his cyclops brother) and encountering even Hermes and going against Luke and maybe saving a friend from a giant? Its an epic volume with so much twists and turns and sometimes feels uneven not adapting the full book but regardless manages to give an action story with Percy trying to save his friends and complete a quest and I kinda like the inclusion of Clarisse in this story though it could have used a little more battle with Luke and not rushed to an ending though the twist was nice in the end. Its still a solid read and makes for a great cliffhanger as we head towards future books in the series!

The illustrators did such a great job! This graphic novel is my favorite of the series. I had so much fun reading this. I flew through it so quickly. this is an okay book but a waste of time if you ask me their was some moments that I did not see when I watched the movie. but their is not the felling of what is this what is that from the first one. it seems like a repeat of the first book but with more things. it not like the harry potter sires were their all was something new and mysterious. that is all I have to say without spoilers because no one spoilers.

More of a supplement to the series. It would be easier to understand after reading the book. Still interesting to see how it would pan out artistically.

I thought this book was good. It was easy to read through, like most graphic novels. It had nice moments of action, where there was fighting, and I like the twists and turns the plots had as I read further in the book. If you like action science fiction type books, this would be a good graphic novel for you.

THE SEAS OF MONSTERS IS A REALLY GOOD BOOK WHICH ALSO HAS SOME INTERESTING FACTS RELATED TO THE WORLD.IN THIS BOOK,PERCY AND ANNABETH GO TO SAVE THEIR FRIEND GROVER WHO IS CAPTURED BY A CYCLOPS IN THE SEA OF MONSTERS.THEY FIGHT MONSTERS,KILL THEM AND SAVE GROVER.THE BEST PART IS THE CLIMAX WHERE PERCY AND ANNABETH REACH THE ISLAND WHERE GROVER HAS BEEN KEPT AND SAVE HIM.THAT PART IS A LITTLE FUNNY TOO.

This was strides better than the first one in my opinion. The art was way more consistent, and they hit every important plot point. Compared to the novel, it definitely lacks that humor that the novels have, but I didn't notice nearly as much as I did in the first one. This was strides better than the first one in my opinion. Second verse, same as the first. Definitely a fun bit of nostalgia but it rushes through the plot points at breakneck speed so I wouldn't recommend it unless you have read the novel first. Still, it's a nice companion to the series and it's interesting to see the story in a different format [even though I'm still not the biggest fan of the art style] Second verse, same as the first. Read by Shon A quick refresher to remind me what happened. It's been maybe 5 years since I read this book. One of my bookish goal for this year is to finish the Percy Jackson series. A Novel was short but better to see with readersās image was very satisfying to read. Not to mention a Movie, which is Very Damn Shame. This is actually quite improvement of the art and color that this is close much alike from the book. The Movie of the Same Name my put the Familiar Plot But Not the Same Plot And Some were omitted and some were not supposed to be. The Cast of the Characters were too old as young adult rather than pre-teen kids, and the movie itself was very derivative. Anyway, Every Pages is absolutely extraordinary much Like the Blockbuster. Here is my opinion of this, it was excellent. -Much Like the first, The Main Plot was Same of the literary work loosely based on Odyssey that did very well, although, the humor of Percy Jackson quite doesnāt fit in GN scenes, rushed on the plot, and some scenes were missing like Annabeth, Percy, And Tyron reach the safe house in Miami, Battle with the Hydra, Circe supposed to wear a white dress, and The Second Chariot Race Scene but itās fine and sometimes, not fine. -Attila Futakiās Artwork did done better than a previous one and it was absolutely amazing with many details of Charactersās emotion and expression, Monsters are terrifying and stunning good and ugly, and setting ar excellent. Although, there are little blurred and unfinished on the background, but still looks good on comic book style. Itās Really Amazing. -Tomas Gasparās Color are absolutely well done and much better than Jose Villarrubiaās Dull Color. This is different as polish on Futakiās Artwork. Every Action Sequences On Greek Myths & Legends bought back to Life quite Outstanding -Every Characters isnāt exactly what fans picture, but very close much alike. Artist quite did well to his vision of protagonist, demigods, semi-Humans, Gods, And monsters in the 2nd installment. They may not be official fanarts, but theyāre official well appearance and very accurate. -Layouts of Illustrations really explores what we focus on and its beautiful and fantastic despite the rush plot and Should deserve a Comic Book Version of Academy Awards for Best Visual Art Style. Conclusion- This May Not Be 100% Perfect, But still great and improvement that age well. Itself feels Well Deserved Solid Sequel Better than a Faithless Sequel Movie. I donāt know why I bought DVD of those, honestly. At least Graphic Novel Adaptation is alway the better way for the Source Material instead of Movies or TV series. This is a gold standard! I love it! š The Cover was Very Cool. Show Percy, Annabeth, And Tyson carry the weapons that been surrounds by Many Monsters was quite a Modern Legend of the Odyssey-Style that quite Hit the Mark!

I mean this is fun if you like Percy Jackson. But itās really just the bear bones of the story which is kind of depressing because non of my favorite parts are really in it. Also I low key donāt like how they drew the characters. Like thatās not how I personally think they look like.

I started reading this book because I was required to read graphic novels for class. As the book progressed, I started to get bored with it because I missed the details of the original book. There were some parts from the book that I missed that weren't in the graphic novel. I believe that it would be better if I hadn't read the original book first. Putting that aside though- the art was GORGEOUS and reading this and the novel back to back I was shocked at how well they contained the story into such a quick and bite sized read without leaving any plot out. Some of the imagery was really epic!!!! And I loved seeing the interpretations of Thalia, Percyās mom, the camp adults, and even Luke! Iām definitely looking forward to reading the rest and recommending these to kids at my library and friends too!
